    Does anybody know what do we need to change in order to make ItemAlerter to work?
    Its great little tool, but since 1.3 it isnt working, and since here are lots of smart ppl, maybe somebody knows quick fix for it.

    I tried to work it out, but it seems to me that it doesnt detect loot packets at all, and that offset finder tool is not providing correct BP's.
    Or if you guys could point me in right direction, I would like to give it a try to make it work.

    With exactly the same settings, there is only 6/56 false positive results.

    K7AntiVirus/K7GW, Sophos detect any confuser packed file.
    And McAfee/McAfee-GW-Edition, Qihoo-360 just have some problems with false positive detections consider some publik aintivirus tests.

    Literally zero reaction from major trustfull av-software like norton, nod, bitdefender.

    p.s Like you said, i send your hud to nod32 support, and recieved a reply, there is no false positive results.

    So, i think there is some viruses in your packed exe.

    i got no action out of my anti virus programm. all seems fine tho.

    am i doing something wrong? i cant get it run.

    i know what is written on the first post but still the question.

    is there any report of being banned cause of this?

    i know there is always a chance to get banned, but still good to know if there is something out there.

    furthermore: is this programm READ ONLY or does it write something back to the POE process at any time?

    I think you mean this:

    var itemsOnGroundLabels = model.Internal.IngameState.IngameUi.ItemsOnGroundLabels;

    model refers to GameController in this context.

    Are you following all the instructions on the first page? This is not a self contained package.

    Reread them and see if you miss a steep, there are multiple programs you need to have install before you can successfully run this program regardless of its version.

    Coyl did make the effort to write it out nicely.


    On another note, I'm seeing why Jearins comment to me in the past about code snip-its was valid, and yes i am guilty of post them too. Moving forward i would like for us to come up with a solution that allows us to catalog changes and suggestions more coherently, as its becoming apparent that some of the posted code snip-its are missing parts of the code from the entirety of the class file, and this is leading to confusing or compile errors.

    One thing that would help, is if people could add comment lines inside the class files about the code they are adding or modifying, even if they know what there doing. It will help people in the future answer questions about why something was done one way and not the other. It could be something as simple as at the top, saying hey this file does this or links to this.

    I would like for the project to be treated like how distributions for Linux are handled. Where there is a Stable master build and that is the version new people are directed to, and then builds that are for testing new features(shouldn't be closed but also doesn't offer support like the base build as its geared more for development and testing).

    That doesn't mean every one has to follow this, or that i expect people to, but i think it would help to prevent the project from being diluted with a million different version. Im not saying that it should be closed source, but trying to echo what Jaerin has been saying about keeping it structured.

    I'm all ears for suggestions or comments.
