Here is 0.3.8b but if you don't have the issue Darxide23 is experiencing there's no point using it instead of 0.3.9b:
    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...e_v.0.3.8b.rar

Is anyone else experiencing this particular issue? And I mean the race condition that eats all your RAM in a minute. As far as I know it only happens on Darxide23's system. If someone else has it could you list the system's specs and operating system?

As a sidenote, if you saw Neverwinter's latest patch notes they supposedly fixed an issue with the gateway disconnecting users on iOS devices. Considering iOS devices run the same browser engine that APBU does, this means they may have fixed the gateway dropping the session issue. So do let me know if you still see this happening from time to time in your logs

    Thx for the link.
I also have the eat ram issue. Wich is clearly identified, as i'm lauching 3 instance of APBU, and get win7 warning about need to close all softwares because of memory not enough, between 10 to 40 minutes after launching APBU.

Could you post your system specification and OS version and edition? Also list any installed software/drivers that could be messing with other processes memory (if you know that you are using any eg software that loads its DLLs globally for all applications or a very intrusive security/antivirus application). I'm trying to figure out why only two of you are experiencing this. Judging from the download metrics there are currently more than 200 users of APBU so that roughly equates to 1%. There must be some common denominator at play.

    Intel core I5 760, 8Go Ram DDR3, Win7 Pro 64Bits SP1 with all update.
Software that run with APBU (4 instances), Chrome (10 tabs open), Palemoon (7 tabs open), foobar2000, Avast, Mumble, Neverwinter (of course), Control Catalyst for AMD graphic card, Realtek audio manager and sometimes Windows Mail + all the usually crappy, but Microsoft build in, Windows services

All this stuff running actually with 3.8b version of APBU, without issues. If i change for 3.9b, it won't take long to warn about memory issues.
    Hope it can help you.

Is there an ETA for supporting refining on each character? I'm sitting on maybe 10 million rough AD that I would like to refine and the only bot that does refining is the greasemonkey script one that doesn't support multiple accounts. Thanks.

The original APB refines AD, handles multiple characters, and you can run multiple instances of it for other accounts. Only issue is that it's a bit buggy at times. Though I am eagerly waiting for Base's next version of APBU myself. It seems a LOT more stable than the old APB.

I have never used a bot before, and I have no interest in trying to turn or profit or farm gold or AD. I was looking at these profession bots just to level up the professions on my neverwinter toons.

I did a few searches but with no luck, is there a FAQ some where for the proper use of this bot. I do have one major concern ( and forgive my ignorance)
Is this bot supposed to be used with a newly created Neverwinter account that has nothing to do with my own personal account or is it safe to use with my personal account?

I do not know if because its run from my internet browser it will be safe to use or is there a possibility because of the repetitions that it will be detected and my account may be banned?>

I have invested time and real money into my account and would like to know before I use it If it is safe to use. My goal is to level up my professions and make my shirts and pants for my characters and maybe a guildie or two.

APBU is virtually undetectable because it is using a normal browser engine and appears as such to the other side of things. While I do not think they care about gateway automation at all, if you want to be entirely on the safe side just use long base loop delay setting. If you check your queues every 15 miutes or half an hour then you're virtually indistinguishable from a person doing just that (also this delay is randomized as well so there's no pattern to be recognized). No one can ban you for using the gateway a lot heh because that's how it appears on the other side.

That said, gateway automation doesn't give you an unfair advantage in PVP or PVE so they actually have no reason at all to stop it. In fact during the design of the gateway they should have been sure that it would be automated via scripts alone. Not to mention there are hundreds of browser scripts circulating (and custom unshared stuff) so there's no way to catch them all. They can't start banning people because they use the gateway too much lol. Nor is APBU something that would be used by AD sellers because it can't make you enough AD to sell around (those use stolen accounts and credit cards to get AD and sell). They have no reason at all for going after users automating the gateway.

EDIT: I am personally against any bot that can be used to gain an advantage in PVP and I could never see myself make one as I enjoy PVP and I like it to be fair and challenging as much as possible. And for PVE bots, I only think they're fine for games that have HUGE leveling grinds which are no fun at all. Nverwinter in no such game though. You can level a char to the max in a few days heh.

EDIT2: 0.4.0b will be done either later tonight or tomorrow. I'll initially send it to Darxide23 and Methuselas for some first hand testing before releasing it to the public because it has too many changes and want to be sure nothing is broken badly before people upgrade to it.

Yeah, this is mostly what I'd like to know. It's a really robust tool, but I don't understand at all how to set it up for leveling professions. Once every toon is at max levels for the professions needed, the process is fairly simple, but unless I'm missing something, there doesn't appear to be an easy answer for leveling. Perhaps an example xml file to import with?

Uh, if you read through this thread, you would have found a post I did, explaining how to setup the bot......

For leveling you have two options:

    a) The fast one. Make queues with First Possible mode, making armor for example from top to bottom:
    Upgraded armor
    Initial armor
    Gathering.

This way it tries to make the upgraded armor, if the initial armor component is missing, it will not be possible to start it so it will go to next and make the initial component armor. If it's out of materials, it won't be able to start this one either so it will gather materials. Just make sure you got enough store components and green components for the upgraded version. This is the fastest leveling method. Once you unlock higher level armor you switch to the same queue with the new armor.

    b) The slower method that doesn't need any micromanagent. Simply grind the highest gathering task again and again until you unlock the next one at 7 and 14. This way you don't have to worry about store and green components and you'll also end up with a huge stockpile of components from gathering that you can save some for crafting use and sell the rest.

Thank you. To avoid questions like this for the future, perhaps either linking to this post in the OP or including the post in the OP directly? Hunting through 400 posts for one, while possible, is not exactly anyone's first choice considering that there's the possibility that no such post existed, for anyone new to the thread anyway...

As for the intelligence of the program, I guess I wasn't seeing the results when attempting to set up for alchemy. I had originally just tried to set up all of the various researches thinking that it'd figure out the rest on its own like the greasemonkey script, but I found that it would just go to the next rank all the way down. Perhaps I should try it with tailoring or some non-random profession...

Scazy00 is you read this, please empty some room in your Inbox.

I will link Methuselas guide in the OP. Good idea

Regarding Alchemy, I can't help you there myself as it is one prof I have not touched at all. APBU automates the process so what you should do is find out what gives the most xp in Alchemy and just run a queue with those tasks. Use First Possible mode if it also has chains like the others. Perhaps someone here who is doing Alchemy can share the most efficient queue. But meanwhile do try with something like tailoring you proposed, to get the hang of it.

0.4.0b has been sent to Darxide23 and Methuselas for some first hand testing and soon I'll release it (unless there's something very wrong with it heh).

Thank you those answers where exactly what I was looking for and thank you for explaining them to me.

I guess will wait for the new version you referred to and give that a shot, cant wait to try it out.

Unfortunately, there's no way to do Alchemy properly, with APBU. Yet..... Now that the new release is done, with assets, I'll see about testing an Alchemy xml that will run through each level, doing potions, as needed, til it's done. The downside to this approach is the fact that you'll waste A LOT of resources, having to create single potions, one at a time, unless I do the rare jobs, but that also poses a problem, as they're not readily available and without knowing what assets you have, you'll run into problems with the bot, unless I create xml files for each type of asset, which I don't want to do. Also, because a lot of alchemy jobs require different resources, you'll have to purchase a TON beforehand, to keep the bot from timing out.

Base, does APBU support a no of cycles yet? For example, say I could put it to where it will make 2 lesser potions of force before moving down the list. Also, considering Cyntalan's statement, I'd propose adding a feature that APBU will check for required assets before starting a job. Therefore, if you need steel plates, but don't have any, it will refine plates first, before attempting a job.

So, how do you guys propose I do this? As it stands, I have an extra toon that needs to do Alchemy, albeit he's already level 3. Also, I have all purples, so I don't want to give away an job.xml that will cause problems. So, do you want me to set it up where it will just run through each research job and each experimentation job, or do you want me to go through the trouble (and hassle ;P) of trying to set it to where it's fully automated and will run through jobs it needs, so you don't have deal with doing the professional materials beforehand.

Now, with the "fully automated" version, you'll run into serious problems at level 20, as you can continually do the experimentation jobs (I can offset this by doing one of the potions you get at the very end) and it will take FOREVER to get through that slot, 'cos it's gonna have to start from 20 and work it's way down to Level 1. So low level alchemists will suffer from loss of profession time.

Also, another approach I could do was set one job.xml to do levels 1-5, another for 6-10, another for 11-15 and yet another for 16-20.
