How do you even start the appeals process? On NCsoft support you cant log in to create a ticket since it says account disabled. And they don't have a help line.

Exploits - If you discover an exploit in the game, do not exploit it or publicize it, but instead notify us immediately at this new email address: exploits (at) arena (dot) net.

This morning there was a widely-publicized, newly-introduced exploit in which specific cultural weapons were selling for one-thousandth of their normal price. We fixed it with an emergency build this morning. We want to thank the vast majority of players who became aware of the issue, responsibly reported it, and did not exploit it. However, a smaller group of players did significantly exploit it, each purchasing hundreds or thousands of these weapons. We permanently banned 3,000 accounts of players who substantially exploited it, and applied 72-hours bans to another 1,000 accounts of players who mildly exploited it.

Funny thing is that they banned botters for 72hours, while buying weapons for cheap price (their mistake) results in permanent ban.

thats sick lol... this "vendor mistake" was posted in public chat - i mean alot of innocent peoples who just wanted to enjoy the game bought some weapons because they didnt know whats going on, and now are ALL banned?

oh yey thats ridiculous..

the new free2play future is to add some mistakes into the game and wait until alot peoples abuse this mistake - then banning them and hope that they all buy the game again?

They shouldnt ban people when its their own fault. They put the merchant up with a wrong cost so they should blame themselves and not players. 4 of my friends got banned aswell.

Having 50/50 HoM attached to my account along with it being a Digital Deluxe and having already spent money on the cash shop, there's no way in hell I'd buy again. Hopefully when it says permanent it just means "72 hour suspension" (it's weird for some people to be perm banned and some only 72, especially after they said for the first couple weeks they were going to be lenient).

Do you know where they said they were going to be lenient?
