Cheap T2 Cultural Weapons (21 karma)

Currently, you can purchase the Tier 2 cultural weapons for 21 karma from the weapon vendor in Hoelbrak. They are normally 9k karma. You can find the vendor up in the north east corner of the city, near the Hall of Legends waypoint. For the location of the vendor, refer to Laniax's picture (Cheap T2 Cultural Weapons (21 karma))here.

Edit: You can also turn these into level 80 exotic weapons or (in rare cases) the components to the legendary weapons by combining them in the Mystic Forge many times! Combine this with the 2 centaur events in Kessex and you can net many, many 80 exotic weapons. Enjoy!

They're souldbound on acquire so you can't trade them to other players.

While they are soulbound and can't be traded or sold, you can salvage them. They give a 3% damage rune, some wood, and 2 platinum ore (which sells pretty well on the trading outpost.. when it's up)

Yeah I used one of the area reward salvage kits and got the 3% damage runes out of it.

ive jus been buying and salvaging, have 7x of the 3% damage, and a bunch of platinum atm.

Anyone know what plat sells for?

This is info on how to "launder" those items:
1)Buy 4 items for 84 karma. (or as many as you can carry)
2)Go to Lion's Arch, to the Mystic Forge, put 4 of those items into it
3)Now you have an item of level around 70, that is "soulbound on use"
4)Repeat! You can then combine those lvl 70ish to get a lvl 80 (exotic sometimes even)

I thought you can only get them if you are Norn, how did a human get it?

Everyone can buy these in Hoelbrak. If you're human go to Divinity's Reach, take a portal to Lion's Arch. There's portal to every major city, just pick Hoelbrak.
