i only dont understand why KJ don't let players buy this version TurboHud for 3$ 30 days. But allow people pay 16$ for RosTeam!
Chinese Stolen his work?! it's not our fault if someone stolen his work, ofc he have the right to be angry. But since he sell the files to RosBOT, i dont understand why only RosBOT have to get all money and force players to pay 16$

The Chinese version is literally a hacked and pirated copy that was stolen from KJ. That is why it is cheap.

If you care at all about the years of work KJ put into this addon and his contributions to the diablo 3 community with keeping this addon free and updated, then you will not use the hacked version.

The problem is that KJ is a pussy and he is also a massive hypocrite. He is refusing to tarnish his self righteous image and charge a small fee for users to use his addon and pay for his work because of the fear of backlash. Instead, he decided to sell off the addon and forge a hidden partnership with Rosbot, a business that sells d3 bots. Essentially, he is forcing you to support a known botting company and be overcharged for the addon. so much for his stance against automation, eh ?He does not have the courage to simply ask users to pay a small fee for his services but instead he is playing games and doing it indirectly through Rosbot. Many users would be happy to support him directly for his work but he is refusing that option.

I cant accept that it was for medical and personal reasons because
1. how the fuck this thud end up on a botting website
2. he conveniently ends development right before the start of a season which everyone knows is the most popular time to play d3
3. he stated in his other thread that it only takes him a few hours to update thud so he can easily do so again.


So if you are still playing diablo 3, you have 2 choices.
1. quit the game because d3 is not worth playing without thud
2. overpay and support a botting company to keep using thud . KJ most likely gets a small commission on the sales.

All because Kj is a pussy and refuses to accept money directly for his work to protect his self righteous reputation. A small fee that many users would be more than happy to pay him.

He most likely gets a commission and is paid a small cut of the profits from Rosbot but is too much of a hypocrite to outright state it.

Your third choice is paying someone that literally stole his code and is a hacked copy of the addon that is profiting off of his work. Thats not very ethical. Even overpaying the bottors for thud so KJ gets a commission is better.

I completely agree with most of this. While I honestly appreciated KJs work on THUD, I was never a fan of him. He's always been a melodramatic primadonna and drama queen. I mean just the end of THUD announcement here shows that in spades. Any other fan project comes to an end it's always handed off to someone who will take care of it. KJ hands it off to a chinese bot company. So yeah, not going to be buying this (~12/mos for anyone interested). Frankly...KJ can sit on it and rotate. I guess it's good that I'm pretty much done playing Diablo, and that includes I, II, III, and IV.

I know it will fall on deaf ears, but please no one pay for this, not to these Chinese bot scumbags. Bots really do hurt games, far more than what THUD does.

That said, i am disappointed that the price on Rosbot is too high and would much rather KJ himself just charge a small fee to use thud instead of indirectly by selling it off to rosbot. I think most people would want to support KJ directly rather than rosbot or the chinese versions.

I think a lot of people are angry that rather than a) coming to THIS community and asking for a fee going forward or b) asking the COMMUNITY if anyone was able/interested in taking over this project...and c) a LOT of people are (and I believe justifiably so) that KJ sold TH to RoSBot... Especially after I've read what they've posted about changes that they're wanting to make to it already (not to mention how they want to incorporate some of TH code into their bot) but even worse is the fact that they are charging $$ for TH... oh they'll say "but we have a free tier, you can use basic TH' BUT it's only available 30 DAYS after a patch!! The fact that it's 10 euro a month is ASTRONOMICAL!!! I don't mind the idea of paying to use it.... I do however mind paying RoSBot for it and for the amount they are asking... FYI it's more than DOUBLE what they charge for a premium bot key... just sayin...

And @yangthrow09 - you certainly seem to know a lot about KJ OR you're just making mindless assumptions based on your own desire to have THUD working for *you*. All your bla bla bla comes off rather pathetic. Whatever the reason KJ might have had for letting THUD go, it's not your job to question it. "Health reasons" can mean a lot of things, and since you (I assume) don't know him personally maybe you should just put a sock in it .. And the car analogy is just insanely stupid.
