Lets be real here. Turbohud uses obscuring technology and had spyware included in it. It at the very least records your ip and had some amount of spyware to check on what you were doing and would ban you by IP or whatever method KJ has in the code. Its confirmed by KJ himself and was always kind of sketchy to me what the code was monitoring. https://www.ownedcore.com/forums/dia...an-policy.html (Ban policy)
I trust him that it was only for legitimate reasons but technically, there could also be could be any number or keyloggers or monitoring software included in turbohud and you just dont know it.

RosBot is also a chinese company, lol and they use chinese programmers on their bots. Just check the language on the logs and codes when you get a error when using the bots. There is no difference from the company making the chinese version of turbohud connecting to their own servers for payment verification or whatever as compared to KJ having certain amounts of spyware on his version. or as compared to whatever method Rosbot is doing to use for payment verification. Rosbot and this other chinese company both want to make money and i doubt they are going to purposely put malware on customer's computer. EIther way as with all software, you have to take a risk because you have no idea whats written in the code, whether it is from KJ, rosbot, or the Chinese versions. The only difference is the level of trust you have for the developer.You can always just run it in a virtural machine to test it out and be safe.

That said, i appreciate what KJ has done with providing his turbohud and updating it for years for free. It really was the only addon making diablo 3 playable for me or i would of quit years ago. He sold it off to rosbot and he deserves whatever amount he got from them as a reward for all of his work on turbohud over the years.

The problem now is that the blizzard UI and hud is still shit and those people that still want to play d3 are limited in their choices but at least they have some competition. Rosbot, a chinese company, wants to charge 16 euros a month which is like 19 USD, which is expensive. There are also Chinese versions that are free to use if you can find it. The biggest turbohud company with the best marketing 【暗黑3导航插件辅助中文汉化版下载】TurboHUD中文管理器雷� �宏LightningMOD官网 is selling it for 3 euros a month which is far more reasonable.

Do not be mad at KJ. He has provided you with turbohud for free for many years. There is nothing wrong with selling off your own property to rosbot for some profits and it is his reward for his many years of work.

Yes, there are now better alternatives such as the chinese versions or the rosbot version but you dont need to rude towards KJ. Be happy and grateful that you were able to get it for free for several years

Because turbohud is KJ's property and he doesnt want anyone else to steal it. Its like if someone stole your computer. Of course you would be angry and do whatever you can to stop the theft.

You are angry at Rosbot for charging a high price for turbohud which you previously were getting for free for many years provided by KJ. I do agree that he should of just simply charged a few dollars a month for his work and most of us would have paid. Instead, he decided to sell thud to a Rosbot and indirectly get paid that way. This forces users who are still playing diablo 3 to support a known botting company.

I purchased a license, just for shits and giggles and It won't install and I can't understand the error because I can't put it into Google translate. If the Chinese people offering this version want it to become more successful then finding someone to translate it into English must be a priority because it's the perfect time.

I think it was that one dude that was insulting KJ that got his post purged. You can voice your disappointment that thud is no longer free but you need to be civil about it.

KJ has done great work for us with keeping thud updated free of charge for us for several years and that is a great contribution to the d3 community. There is no need to undermine his efforts.

That said, i am disappointed that the price on Rosbot is too high and would much rather KJ himself just charge a small fee to use thud instead of indirectly by selling it off to rosbot. I think most people would want to support KJ directly rather than rosbot or the chinese versions.
