First off you never read the simple instructions in the first post, take a run.
Then when you cannot get what you want, you extract the file to multiple folders (not saying what they are and claim it is apparent, when you do not even say what they are).

When I ask why you did not read the first post, you come back with an insult.
Then, when I am about to help you, you insult me instead, and when called out for it.
You use the excuse for English. Then you say disrespectful after you attacked, refused to say what you did, and then disrespected me.

No wonder your life is like it is. If you treat people like that in real life.

I can't seem to make it work. I downloaded rested xp via curseforge, i downloaded your Mist guide, i extracted it in classic > interface > addons but i dont see the guides. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Yea a couple of things

You do not say if you had the addon before. If you did, you need to delete the savedvariables for the addon.
You do not say if you enabled the adddon or not.
You do not say what os you are using.
You do not say what you extracted it with. Seeing people keep on using windows extractor when it does not extract rar.

7zip is free to use.

I am using 7zip to extract the MOP that i downloaded via your link.
OS is windows 11.
Addon is enabled, i see the free guides, i do not see the guide i downloaded from you.

The common issue recently is:

The addons are affecting the savedvariables folder.

The latest solution is.

Back up the wtf folder
Run the game, does the addon show?
If so, then copy only your files from the wtf folders to your new folders. Do not copy the folders over, only the content.
That way you should not lose anything.

Once i deleted the wtf folder the rxp addon doesn't show anymore (it shows out of date all of a sudden), if i force it i still dont see the guides. Odd.


L.E.: Just to make sure: I download from the classic Link, the Mist of Pandaria, and i extract it (with 7zip) in the classic-> interface-> addons (not in the RXP guides folder) is that correct?

I guess i will switch back to zygor, that one works without problems (also yours).

Did you reinstall the addon?

Yes mists is classic

People are downloading mists of pandaria, knowing it is mists of pandaria on anniversary. Hen wonder why it does not work.

I am currently playing on a 3.3.5 client private server - I tried downloading restedXP v4.6.61-wrath for 3.4.3 and changing the interface settings to 30300 and 3.3.5.
Unfortunatetly it does not work.

Will you maybe be able to change it to make it work for 3.3.5 as well?

You cannot take a mop addon and expect it to work on wrath

You need to go to curse. Download it, for patch 4.
Add the guides.

But there will be a lot of errors, because it is not compatible

So i got it working again it seems so i'll give some help to those who may need it in case just so that @BlueRainsky hasn't got to get annoyed by others (or like a previous comment mentioned, seemed to come across rude etc)


- First of all download the Rested XP guides from your curseforge client, if you click it you can go to "versions" and i have just downloaded the most recent 5.5.0 one which was released today (19/8/25)

- Once that is done use the link on the first page found here - https://www.ownedcore.com/forums/wow...?highlight=rxp (again thanks for the link Rain, since you go out of your way to give us it after all) and click the appropriate one, this case for MOP is classic not era (era is for anni realms/hc realms etc) and open it via either winrar or 7zip (again as Rain mentioned he prefers 7zip)

- From there i personally sent it to my desktop instead of straight extracting that way i could check it and make sure i'm doing it right > extracted to my desktop > opened my wow folder which is under your C; > program files (x86) > world of warcraft > _classic_ > interface > addons and you can drag the files from the extract on your desktop there, or like i did open it and extract it manually from the desktop file instead

it is showing it as out of date, and says it's missing dependencies but it doesn't actually seem like it is so not sure what that is about but it is working via this... Apologies i don't actually know how to add images so the links are uploaded from my discord

The same way that people know how to do it.
But when it comes to this file, people intentionally self sabotage. They intentionally install it wrong and then complain it does not work.

I am having an issue where I can see survival guides on era however I cannot see speed run guides.
I have done a fresh install, removed saved variables and put the download in the addons folder.
Everything works perfectly for standard survival routes.
Just wondering if there is anything else or is speedrun guide not provided in the download? (I'm mainly looking for mage aoe guide 22-60).

No need for you to ingite something and then deny it.

Let me point out a few thing

People know how to install an addon, so intentionally installs this wrong.
They knew previously to extract to a folder only. Then intentionally delete that folder and then complain that the folder is deleted. I have been accused of hacking someones PC, to delete the guides folder, because they refused to admit they did it.
I know informants are sent, or let just call them rats. Kinda stupid that they use their same name on their source as well.
They do not say that they had the addon before and then expect me to know they did.
They intentionally use the wrong software, when told not to but does it anyway. Then complains that it does not work.
They do not read, just take a run and then complains that it does not work.

If people go through life like that, no wonder they are not succeeding.
