Great guide, but I just can't seem to be able to put the edited .blp back the right way. I edited in the common.mpq and replaced the .blp many different ways, and when I try to run WoW it says that it cannot find common.mpq... Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong and the right way to do it? Thank you! (sorry if this is a dumb question).

If it's showing up as just plain black you probably had a similar problem to what I had when I first attempted this. You increased the color (from 256 to 16bit) in order to edit the texture and then forgot to reduce it back to 256. The colors won't be as sharp, but you will have your new edited texture ^^ Give it a shot! Hope that helps

You must of done something wrong. Which is hard to do with editing blp's..
