    [QUESTION] World Objects and WMOs

Y'know, hai, greetings, hail, nub here. Etc.

So guys, I'mma need your help on this. We all know the shiny game objects lurking every corner of the game. We all know that in order to build your stuff, you'll have to spawn those. Game objects, however, are only -usable- objects. DERP! So, my question is... There are WMOs. There are world objects. Houses, trees, everything you see around ye. I know there is a way to extract the world object info out of the WMOs and turn them into game objects for spawning. Like, spawning them as GOs instead of using map editors. So yeah, how is this done? D:

Yep, I know. This is probably a n00b question. This is probably in the wrong forum. This is probably so easy that one could figure it out by themselves. I fail.

    Thankees in advance. <3

    World Objects are WMOs.

Gameobjects are not intended to be used for spawning cities but only for map editors. No need to get them as game objects.

    Also: GameObjectDisplayInfo.dbc.

I know they are not, but I have seen it done and it would be really useful, so I've been wondering how to do it. :>

    Also: GameObjectDisplayInfo.dbc.
    ...eh?

    Thankees for the reply! <3

Bah, sorry for the belated response. >>

Yes, however... I did not make myself clear at all. I am talking about the things that exist as world objects, but you are not able to get their display IDs the "normal" way (GameObjectDisplayInfo.dbc!). What I meant is... How do you get those display IDs. There are many things that aren't in the .dbc files, like most of the tree objects and whatnot. Those are the thingymajigs I'm talking about.
