[Race Edits] Every Race to Race Conversion!

Ok so I haven't model edited since mid BC and I'm wondering if anything has changed.

I got the latest fix, took the model edit I wanted from the file from the OP (human female to undead male), and renamed it Patch-1.MPQ and put it in the WOW/Data file just like you're supposed to. Pressed F8 at the loading screen, and got in, but then when I select my human female toons, the whole screen is black. When I press enter to play as them, WoW crashes.

Is my fix not recent enough? Is that conversion corrupted or something? Thanks in advance.

This, I have the exact same problem, got helm fix and everything, so that aint the problem.

Hey im new to this whole model tinkering scenario so excuse my nabbish questions;

I got the undead > alliance character download... but what do i do with the
"patch-8.mpq" file...

I'm having this same problem, my character screen is black for the character, and then I crash when I try to get into the game.

Anyone know how I would go about fixing this?

forgive me for being a noob...new to this model editing thing, but once you download the file, what exactly do you do to change your character to the desired race? (and yes I did search site before posting this)

Hi, i was just wondering if this works on a mac, i used to have it on my pc and it worked fine. I downloaded the Human to horde and when i click on the link that my mac gives me, and it just opens wow and nothing is changed i can't get the file i need out of it. Anyone know what's going on?
