I found out the download link for the patch itself was messed up. Sorry. Here is the new one:

Also make sure you have used the protection on the wow.exe. It needs to be updated with every single new patch.

One more thing. The patch is made with enGB specific files. If you have an enUS or something that might be a problem. Let me know what happens. I'm glad to help you out any way I can.

Hi, I've been wanting to make a high elf for a very long time. I also am using the US client, sadly . I could not find 2/3 of the DBQ files you listed in my locale-enUS.mpq, so I just extracted all of the dbq files. I can make a download for you for all of the dbq files, but I have a feeling that the others you listed (CharacterFacialHairstyles and HelmetGeosetVisData) are located somewhere else. Thanks!

I decided to try to. I'm renaming everything that says 'Draenei' to 'Gnome'

I placed the enUS file into my enUS folder but I can't seem to get it to work, is there something else I should be doing? This is the first time using a model edit or even this website in a long time, is there prepping I need to do? Changes I need to make that allow them?

Thank you so much for this patch, I've been wanting to play as a High elf for years, and I never could bring myself to do any modifications, but it's getting the best of me and I really want to try. I tried your enUS patch as well as the precautionary patch you provided on the first link.

However, the game just crashed when I used their crack, and even without it, the patch doesn't seem to work. Is there something else I need to do like brendanb says? I've looked around the forums for some basic instructions but I can't seem to find much. This is also my first time trying to swap models so I could be missing something important.

I really want to use your patch, so I hope I'm not being too much of an inconvenience, looking forward to your reply.

As far as I can tell the enUS patch doesn't work because the dbc files is out of date. I want you to read ALL the earlier posts in this thread and extract the 3 dbc files from your own updated enUS client. You can find out how and where to do that in the earlier posts. If you do that I will make an updated version of the patch for you. But if the problem is something else I might not have a solution. This is because I can't test rest of the patch because I am taking a break from wow at the moment. Also I have a major paper due in 9 days so I can't help you until then.

Does this work with 5.4? Or is there an update in the pipelines for a version that does? Would very much like to try this out.
