patch-4.MPQ merged with patch-3.MPQ!?

Hi,

i failed to remove patch-4.MPQ before patching, now it seems to be merged with my patch-3.MPQ.
How can I get my original model back? Do I have to reinstall it or is there a non-"mutated" patch-3.MPQ to download?

You need to reinstall whole wow, and download the patch again. ALWAYS delete/move model edit patches before you update else it will screw your whole wow.

Next time make this thread in the appropriate section.

i prefer to name my edits patch-a or patch-x .. i dont use numbers because of the problem you have now ^^

no you dont have to reinstall whole of WoW

Just delete your patch.mpq, patch-1.mpq etc, every file with the word "patch", and then run your repair tool.

You'll get a message saying your WoW folders are seriously damaged bla bla just click 'check and reset all files'.


Make sure to keep a copy of your WTF, cache and interface folders because they may get deleted.
