Ahh, so just leaving the patch-y.MPQ in the data folder and THEN using the MEF that you linked to will work? Open it, click Launch etc? No need to do anything special in-game?

So basically if I want to run WoW without the custom patches I should just remove the extra .MPQ from the data folder?

I checked both the files I uploaded and both of them worked on a private server, but the NeM was actually for NeF, my bad sorry.

So I made now a proper NeM-> Alex - tested and working.
And the previous patch I made works and is for NeF.

I placed both patches-Y and X in the Data folder, then use WrathModel.exe to Launch WoW, but it is still my Night Elf Male at the selection screen and in-game.

1. Is WotLk installed? Must have WotLk for it to work.
2. The name of the patch must look like this: patch-X.MPQ
Make sure "X.MPQ" are capital letters, and "patch" not capital.
3. If you have another custom patches in this folder, try to move them to another folder (so they are disabled) and try again.

I just tried it with both of the files and only one of them worked. Seems like you can't get both of them to work at the same time, since one overwrites the other.
I'll try to make a single patch with both of them and see if it works.

I cannot find the CreatureModelData.dbc file anywhere nor get ahold of a working WoW Model Viewer. I'm trying to turn only Human Female's into Alexstraza, can anyone help point me in the right direction here? I don't wanna just ask for a file is all =x

How can i make a file for other races?

To Change a race to Alexstrasza edit the line from the model ID of the race you want to change.

(Example: Bloodelf Female = id 15475)

the line must look like this:

field1: 3029
field2: 0
field3: 0
field4: 1
field5: 255
field6: LadyAlexstrasaSkin1
field7: LadyAlexstrasaSkin2
field8: (this field must be empty!)
field9: 0
field10: 1
field11 to 15: 0

i upload other files on monday

I did all of this.. none of it worked.. if you could please tell me step by step what to do i would love that as i spent hours on this and nothing changed.
