RaF Grind 1-80 Icecrown "new" location.

im 90 and my raf guy is 40 adn we are not getting 3x exp (he is not getting i mean) did they fix that?

I can confirm that this is a pretty quick way to lvl a RAF char, I did 1-80 in about 15hrs played with no heirlooms. Found the best char to do it with was twink 80 hunter, one shot multishot and the slightly lower lvl probably helps xp on the alt Thanks would rep if i could

Worked up until Monday atleast, I'd test it but after 15hrs running in a tiny circle hitting tab then arcane shot I never want to see that area again lol

Used an 85 DK, and RAF was level 73 priest. Was getting 1300 xp per kill and 900 RAF bonus XP. Not bad about 10% in 8 minutes but dungeon/quest by hand is better I think. This would be good for a bot though. Nice guide!

Yes, possible without RaF but not recommended as it takes all the XP boosts RaF + Heirlooms + Banners to make this as fast as it is. And without the 3 x XP from RaF dont bother.

Yes doing a dungeon with the quests are a nice way idd, maybe as fast as this but the problem is that there isnt enough dungeons with high number of quests for every level between 70-80, aswell as if you arent a tank or healer the queues will drag it down. So a mix between these 2 would be greap. Grind while in queue perhaps?

Yes still alive and a good way for you both I think aslong as you have a booster 80-85.

To high lvl booster. You cannot be higher then lvl 85 as I wrote in my guide.

Just so you guys know, you can do it with a character higher than 85. As long as the mobs aren't grey to your boosting character, you will still get the RAF bonus for the toons in your party. I'm doing it with my 87 Fire Mage and it's working just fine.

Confirmed but the lower level the toon doing the boosting the more xp your alts will gain per kill.

Just follow the guide, step by step. Just to clarify that you use a lvl 80-85 to boost a RaF toon from 1-80. Its not the toon levelling that does the killing.



This thread and my levelling 1-80 was done after CRZ was introduced. I very seldom bumped into bots when I did it, the only people there was a few random levellers. One exception was when I did the final 74-80 push (took 1 hour 50min) there was a cloth farmer there but since they are forced to have 3 spawns up at all time it made no big difference. I do recognize that it may differ on your CRZ and it might be bot heaven there.

I found it best to have a ranged, pref dot class do to the acutal genocide. Dot and move on, keep running and your golden.

Yes it still works and you only really need the Battlechest on the new RAF account to make this work.

How do you guys get your low lvl in Icecrown? If I use "summon friend" or any form of summon it gives me "invalid target" all the time.
