Yes, this till works on EU servers at least.
However, the range of the grip is not unlimited as some people here seem to believe, so Sha has to be spawned at a location close to Milau.

Is fixed, tried closest spawn with entire raid. I was the only one to die to Milau, as I was fighting him.

I believe this only works when the quest "The Thunder Below" is up.

Didn't work for me the first day I tried it (without quest)
Second day it worked (the daily was up)
Haven't seen the daily since and it haven't worked for me since that aswell.
