There might still be hope for you that missed the boat. Check for enchanting scrolls that use Maelstroms to make. Found powertorrent and Landslide enchants that were around 10k each. Shards alone is 13-14k with the "new" price. But its more risky.

Yeah, I bought a tonne, but its not working great. bought about 50, between 1k-2k. price is now just hovering above 2k with at least 10 people selling between 2.1-3k. So now im stuck trying to sell these ****ing things lol

Keep in mind that the patch effecting Lifebound Alchemist Stone has NOT been deplyed on EU Server.
Hold on to your Maelstrom Crystal atleast till after next Wednesday.
The only question is if the time till the supply/demand difference rises is long enough till disenchanting epic ilvl.359 becomes a everyday thing.

Way to spread false information. Made a Lifebound Alchemist two seconds ago. It can NOT be disenchanted.

The ability to disenchant the Alchemy trinkets was HOTFIXED. That means it was changed server side without a realm restart, it did not require an actual downloaded patch.

Just be patient, some people will have stockpiled a few ready for this to happen.

Also, some people are retarded and still are selling their shards at 1.6k - probably then buying mats to make more.

Bought 15 crystals for 1k gold each and sniped one at the neutral AH.
Price is rising 3,8k gold/crystal at the moment.

Hard to find the right moment to sell. ilvl 359 epics are sold for 6k-25k each. Prices are falling.
Soon they crystals and those epics will be on the same price level. But will this be the right moment to sell?
Or should we wait longer because when nearly all stockpiled crystals are sold and used for enchants BoE Epics will get disenchanted and the demand will rise again and so will the price for the crystals.
Or the demand will decrease over time and the market gets flooded with those epics and crystals and then the price will fall.

After few weeks, no one is going to spend 3-5k for maelstrom crystal, and since they wont get sold market gets flooded of them and price will drop to 1.2 - 1.5k.

Im going with lesser enchants till prices are 800k each for maelstrom crystals.
