    Maelstrom Crystal - Act NOW

    Yeah, yeah. I'm sure you're all familiar with disenchanting Alchemy Stones for Maelstroms and making bank. But today they stealth hotfixed this "bug". What does that mean for you?

    1. DON'T SELL ANY CRYSTALS YOU ALREADY HAVE FOR YOUR "OLD" PRICE.

    2. BUY any crystals on AH/advertised in trade for something around/below your "old" Maelstrom Crystal price.

    3. Sell any leftover Alchemy Stone mats while people are still buying them for disenchanting stones.

    4. Wait a few hours/days until Maelstrom prices double. Sell yours. Profit.

    So far it looks promising. I bought 6 for 1.6k each. Checked the Auction house 5 minutes later and there are only 5 up for 6k each. +rep fo sho

    Yep, new Hotfix notes on mmo-champ state:

    Professions

    * Archaeology keystone fragments can no longer be prospected.
    * Lifebound Alchemist Stones can no longer be disenchanted.

    yeah i was stupid.. saw 5 at 5k but waited too long and all sold out. had to wait for people to post more and not realized it's been hotfixed.

    i would suggest buying scrolls that cost maelstroms to make also along with the enchanting companion pets
