    ++ Complete Patch 3.3 Compilation ++

    Herrow there!
    With Patch 3.3 going live next week;
    (December 8th for US realms, and December 9th for EU realms);
I decided to write together all the "interesting" major item changes that will affect the game and making gold in wow.

MOST OF THIS POST CAN BE CONSIDERED A COMPILATION AND BECAUSE OF THAT DONT GIVE ME REP FOR THIS POST.
INSTEAD IF YOU FOUND SOMETHING USEFUL QUOTED FROM HERE ON MMOWNED CREDIT THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR PLEASE!

    JM2C predictions:

This has sent buyers running to grab up all the Saronite Bars and Ore that they can find in anticipation for transmuting them into titanium bars. What will this do? Decrease the value of titanium bars and all the items made from them, as well as increase the value of saronite bars. Saronite ore will also be affected and this will greatly damage the profitability of the 'Saronite Shuffle.' Infinite dusts being made more readily thanks to a recent hotfix will also help to ruin the profitability of this method. Will it still exist after 3.3? Probably, but it will not be as profitable.

    2. Heavy Borean Leather to Arctic Furs

Arctic furs and 10 heavy borean leather are going to even out to the same price.

    3. Rare/Epic Gems going up in value along with other with upgrades

People are going to be upgrading at an insane pace thanks to the 5 mans. Not to mention the fact that t9 will also be available for triumph badges and 5 mans will drop it. Getting 25 arena points for the daily bg will help people upgrade somewhat faster as well. Leg enchants, enchanted vellums, titanium ore and spellthreads should see huge price increases for the first few weeks of the patch.

    4. Raid Consumables

The more top end raiding guilds you have the better this market will be on your server. Everything from flasks to potions to elixirs to fish feasts will fly off the proverbial auction house shelves.

    5. Snowfall Ink Glyphs

Two new glyphs are appearing which cost snowfall ink. Expect the price to rise on your server for these inks. I predict that it will increase even more so than the week of a darkmoon faire.

    6. Pygmy Suckerfish Flood Incoming

With the emphasis on fishing and leveling fishing thanks to the new fishing competition expect pygmy suckerfish to flood the auction house. Definitely look for some great deals on turning these into pygmy oils for resale directly or indirectly as potions.

    7. Disenchanting Option

Disenchanting option is equal to greed. If you roll a 90 on De and someone with greed rolls an 89 you will win the item in disenchanted form.

    8. Random Dungeon

People will run WAY more dungeons thanks to this new tool. Get ready for enchanting mats to drop like a rock with this new option. People will que for dungeons the way they que for battlegrounds, resulting in far more runs and the incentives to try this new tool will have everyone doing it.

    9. BOA Shoulder Enchants

Say goodbye to what was left of the Relics of Ulduar market.

    10. New Leveling Rings

Say goodbye to the amazing profits of selling low level bis rings. Look into disenchanting if the mats for these rings plumet.
    New craftables:

However, these patterns take mats, and thats where the profits can be found on eternals, dragonscales, cloth, chitin, etc rising in value:

All items require Primordal Saronite, the Orbs of 3.3
    -=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Plate (All plate items take titansteel and eternals)
    Tanking:
Pillars of Might - 12 Titansteel Bars, 20 Eternal Earth
Boots of Kingly Upheaval - 8 Titansteel Bars, 12 Eternal Earth

    Healing:
Protectors of Life - 8 Titansteel Bars, 12 Eternal Earth
Puresteel Legplates - 12 Titansteel Bars, 20 Eternal Air

    DPS:
Hellfrozen Bonegrinders - 8 Titansteel Bars, 6 Eternal Fire, 6 Eternal Water
Legplates of Painful Death - 12 Titansteel Bars, 20 Eternal Shadow

    -=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Mail: (Mail takes icy dragonscale, arctic fury and eternals)

    Caster:
Earthsoul Boots - 12 Icy Dragonscale, 5 Arctic Fur, 10 Eternal Air
Lightning Infused Leggings - 20 Icy Dragonscale, 8 Arctic Fur, 16 Eternal Air

    Physical DPS:
Rock Steady Treads - 12 Icy Dragonscale, 8 Arctic Fur, 10 Eternal Earth
Draconic Bonesplitter Legguards - 20 Icy Dragonscale, 8 Arctic Fur, 16 Eternal Earth

Foodpads of Impending Death - 12 Nerubian Chitin, 8 Arctic Fur, 10 Eternal Shadow

    Caster:
Legwraps of Unleashed Nature - 20 Jormungar Scale, 8 Arctic Fur, 16 Eternal Life
Blessed Cenarion Boots - 12 Jormungar Scale, 5 Arctic Fur, 10 Eternal Life

    -=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Cloth: (Cloth takes xweave or moonshroud + primordal saronite)
    Healing:
    Lightweave Leggings - 20 Moonshroud
Sandals of Consecration - 10 Moonshroud

    DPS:
    Deathfrost Boots - 6 Spellweave, 6 Ebonweave
Leggings of Woven Death - 10 Spellweave, 10 Ebonweave
    Engineering changes/opportunities:

In 3.3 there will be 2 new types of ammo for hunters, they are marked as 91.5 dps (and increase of 24 dps over the current best in game). These will be made by engineers (another potential good money maker for engineers).

What do they require? Well apparently:

Iceblade Arrow Reagents: Crystallized Shadow x 2
Shatter Rounds Reagents: Crystallized Earth x 2

Although I woudn't be suprised if the mats change slightly in quantity.

These items are likely to go up in value because of this.

It is also worth noting the impact this will have on the demand for saronite ore as thousands of hunters/engineers stop buying it.

Note. Earlier in the week a guide was posted for crystallized shadow farming:

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-gu...adow-farm.html

Good luck and happy gold hunting!

    Update:

Well the plans are out for the ammo!

    Plans: Iceblade Arrow
    Binds when picked up
    Requires Engineering (450)
    Requires Gnomish Engineer
Requires The Ashen Verdict - Honored
Teaches you how to create Iceblade Arrows.

    Plans: Shatter Rounds
    Binds when picked up
    Requires Engineering (450)
    Requires Goblin Engineer
Requires The Ashen Verdict - Honored
Teaches you how to create Shatter Rounds.

So it seems the bullets/arrows are split over gnomish/goblin engineers and require reputation for the crafter as well - Although Honored doesn't seem very much.

Adds a twist to these items that might make them more profitable.

Of course not many people will know about theyr existence for like 2-3 weeks after 3.3 goes live, so you can buy them with 40 gold from vendor and list them at auction house for like 100g. This will give you nice profit.

You can do this thing first, by letting your character near breanni before the pre-patch maintenance, and when the patch goes live just buy it and be the first who puts it at ah.

You dont want to spam trade chat tho, some people may know and act like haterz, telling everyone what you are doing.

    Good luck!

The interesting thing his is the bag is BoE and that means one thing... Re-selling. Many people will not be aware of this new bag and there will be profit to be made. 3000 gold might seem a lot, but it really isn't to a lot of people (especially your target audience) and reselling this for 5000 isn't going to be impossible.

It's a risk, but I'm bringing it to your attention so you can decide whether you want to take it
Buying Arctic Fur with Borean Leather:

At present Arctic furs can sell for 75 - 125 gold (server dependant) although obviously sometimes can be less/more. This price could well drop dramatically when 3.3 comes out so it is advisable to sell off stock piles sooner rather than later.

Additionally the already highly priced Heavy Borean Leathers may be going up in price to meet the arctic price drop in the middle and as such, a good investment.

Either way it's probably best you're all aware of this change as there is money to be made.
    Fishing:
"The all-new Kalu’ak Fishing Derby, a test of fishing skill with a healthy dash of luck, has come to Northrend! Every Wednesday beginning at 8 PM players can try to catch the elusive Blacktip Shark. Elder Clearwater sits in Dalaran for one hour awaiting the return of the quickest, most experienced fisher to bring him this shark. This champion fisher will be rewarded in-kind for returning with the first catch. Those who aren’t able to return with the first catch will still receive just reward for getting the Blacktip Shark to Elder Clearwater before he takes his leave. It is said that these sharks’ favorite meal are the bite-sized Pygmy Suckerfish. Perhaps a hook in their waters will do the trick."

    Thought on new fishing:

    Shadowmourne:

Farming Jorgmungar scale for the new 3.3 crafting items:
Originally Posted by jpte View Post

-Now i know that there was a post a little while ago basically told us that it would be good gold to stack up on Borean leather, Arctic fur and Jormungar scale, Titansteel bar, saronite bar, eternal shadow, Spellweave and Ebonweave.

Now im NOT trying to repost this, what i instead was going to talk about was the Jormungar Scale as money maker.
(Was about to buy some of those from AH but noticed that they were uptil now so Extremely Low-Demand that there wasn't a single on up on my ah / or they were Extremely expensive.)

Anyhow. There are two major locations to get Jormungar Scales from, The Storm Peaks and Dragonblight.
If you don't know what a Jormungar is, it's one of those ugly looking big worms that tries to eat you. These are good to kill and skin because they drop Worm Meat as well which can be used for cooking. They also have a good drop rate on Artic fur and Borean Leather, so even though your not saveing for 3.3, I argue that this is the Best place to farm leather at the moment!

    Jormungars - The Storm Peaks
Jormungars are all over this zone, so I'll highlight the areas on the map the different Jormungars
can be found. They are all basically equal drop rates, about 25%, so where you go is up to you.
You should be 76+ for this part because the NPCs will be around level 80.

    Jormungars - Dragonblight
The drop rate on these is about 15% but the advantage is you can do them at level 70 or so,
which is a great for people needing gold and just starting in Northrend.

    Have fun farming
I know that alot of 3.3 information hasn't been included, but I really only wanted to most vital information here.
If you want to add anything just post below and I will add it into the post!

Why buy a better item of the AH when the upgrade is only +5 stats in every stat you currently have for an extra 4000g? People do it all the time.

Lol, Yes it is. If you don't belive me just check mmochampion. It says with big letters that 3.3 is going to be deployed on live servers this week.

Also they don't need to have tested all bosses yet. There wouldn't really be any point in doing live kills if everyone had already killed Arthas on the PTR, would there?
The bosses will be released at the rate of maybe 1 boss / week like in TOTGC.

Thank you for your post and it's nice to see at least 3 of my posts mentioned ^^

In regards to bosses being released in ICC, as far as I am aware there will be either 3 or 4 sets of bosses, allowing 3 or 4 bosses within each set, being released over a period of a couple of months.

Initially people will only have a few tries at the bosses and as the weeks go on you will get more tries. This mechanic works in the same way as ToTGC currently does, but as time passes you get more chances.

Another interesting point here is the Hard modes are apparently not available until Arthas is dead, as such people will be only doing the normal modes to start with.

    Anyway I'm woffling!

So it seems the bullets/arrows are split over gnomish/goblin engineers and require reputation for the crafter as well - Although Honored doesn't seem very much.
    Honored doesnt seem much?

You can level your reputation with the Ashen Verdict by killing monsters in the Icecrown Citadel raid instance.

    * Non-elite monsters gives 1 reputation
    * Elite trash gives 10 reputation
    * Named trash gives 20 reputation
    * Bosses give 50 reputation in normal mode, 100 in heroic mode
    It might take a while...and a guild

Well I think the important thing to remember here, is that the time it takes is going to be the same for you as for anyone else working towards gaining reputation with Ashen Verdict.
Also it hasn't been stated yet if you are going to start on Neutral or Friendly. If it is going to be friendly (Which I would assume it is) its really isn't that much even though it will take a little while. also as stated in this wowhead article below you can see that there you will gain rep from the 5 man dungeons and from upcoming daily-quests aswell.

The quests are limited right now (only Shadowmourne's chain), but more are to be expected in the future - maybe even daily quests. The weekly raid quest probably won't give reputation towards the Verdict.

Killing monsters in Icecrown Citadel seems the more reliable option, but as you can guess, the numbers are low.

    1 reputation for non-elites
    10 reputation for easy elites
20 reputation for hard or named elites
    50 (100?) reputation for bosses

Much alike Karazhan and Mount Hyjal, players will be given upgradable rings as their reputation standing advances. All players start neutral with the Ashen Verdict, and the first ring is awarded at friendly through the quest Choose Your Path, offered by Ormus the Penitent. Quests in the game suggest that it will be possible to switch rings if the current one no longer suits the role a player plays, but there will be a fee of 200 for every change.
