    ++ Patch 3.1 Compilation ++

    So as we all know the next major patch (3.1) is just around the corner. The point of this thread is not to tell you 'AMG Lawl 3.1 is cuming olol' because you must have been living in a cave if you didn't knew that yet;

HOWEVER I've seen quite some threads for the 3.1 patch, so I thought let's compile them all in 1 thread so every thread is easy accessible without having to use search function. The thread contains information I looked up myself, aswell as already existing threads - Please check 8. SPECIAL THANKS TO... for credits to already existing threads.

NOTE: You can contribute to the thread too by posting new info (I'll rep and credit you)
UPDATE1: Added (working) Ulduar PTR Video's

UPDATE2: Replaced the Tier 8 preview with a new video. These are the final models. Check them out!
UPDATE3: Added a tactical guide for XT-002 Deconstructor

    Stock cloth and profit

Patch 3.1 is on its way to the live servers and there are again some nice gold opportunities. One thing i didn't see posted here on mmowned is the profit you can make by stocking up cloth. This is not a simple "buy something, sell it when patch hits live servers thing" as there are some things to take under consideration.

First of all, when the new patch goes on live servers, tailoring will be boosted by 4 new craftable items (healing belt and boots and DPS belt and boots) which are by far better than any other current drops. These craftable items are also Bind when Equipped so everyone can have access to them. Here is the tricky part:

Materials needed for these items are insane. 20xmoonshroud for each of the healing items and 10xEbonweave + 10x Spellweave for each DPS item. (+ 6 runed orbs for each item which i suppose they will be Ulduar Drops)

So what i suggest, is stocking up every Moonshroud, Spellweave and Ebonweave you can get your hands on.

BUT don't buy them off the Auction House!
Just get the mats, prices are pretty low on eternals nowadays.
Go to the trade channel and write something like this:
WTB Moonshroud, Spellweave, Ebonweave Cooldown, only if you are a specialist! 30g tip.

I wouldn't give more than 30g for just 5 minutes of their time

Reasons why i believe you can make a very nice profit using this guide:

    1. Not everyone but a lot of members from high-end raiding guilds will want these items crafted ASAP no matter the cost.
    2. Not a lot of tailors use their Cooldowns any more, since the items you can craft from these cloth are simply not worth the time&effort. Everyone can get their valorous from the super-easy naxx nowadays. SO you can get many wispers if you search for tailoring cooldowns on a prime time.
    3. You would make profit even by giving them the mats and having the cloth made and just selling them right away at the AH. But better wait for the patch because...
    4. LOT OF PEOPLE DROPPED tailoring! Sipmply because it is indeed quiet useless nowadays! They got JC, enchanting, everything to be albe to make some more gold, so when patch hits, you can be sure there are not so many tailors with Cooldowns available so that many people can get their 20xMoonshroud fast!
    5. When patch hits( if you just try 2,3 times a day to find tailoring cooldowns) you will have at least 2 stacks of EACH special cloth. Price is now at around 110g/piece on my server. After patch you will be able to sell them for more than 2500g/stack of 20.

There is a potential for a great profit if you just spend 10-20 minutes every day.

(Sorry about my poor english)
    Stock up on black Diamonds

According to Censored 3.1 patchnotes, Black Diamonds will now be able to be used by jewlcrafters to create random gems.

Black diamonds range from anywhere between a few copper to 25s on my server. You can bet your ass they're going to be going anywhere between 1-5 gold a pop when that patch hits.

I did this with jagal pearls, herbs before wotlk, baelogs shortbows before it was blue, gloves of the fang, and several other items to make myself an obscene profit in the past. I figured I'd share this "little gem" this time around, since the profit margin will be so huge on these. =)

    Glyphs Gold Making

EDIT: Seems I can't post URLs to my source.

    1. Glyphs. Lots of glyphs are getting buffed. It might be worth stacking for 3.1. Demand should increase because of 2 reasons:
    a) dual spec, hence almost double demand for glyphs
    b) glyphs that were previously okish or good now become great.

    A few examples:
    - Glyph of Heroic Strike -- Increases the critical strike chance of Heroic Strike by 5%. (Old: You gain 10 rage when you critically strike with your Heroic Strike ability.) looks to become pretty useful.

    - Glyph of Sweeping Strikes -- Reduces the rage cost of your Sweeping Strikes ability by 100%. (Old: You generate 30 rage over 12 sec when you use your Sweeping Strikes ability.) - will perhaps become more useful for arenas?

    - Glyph of Overpower -- Adds a 100% chance to enable your Overpower when your attacks are parried. (Old: 50%) got its effect doubled, looks really nice for PVP

    - Glyph of Adrenaline Rush -- Increases the duration of Adrenaline Rush by 5 sec. (Old: Decreases the cooldown of Adrenaline Rush by 60 sec.) Not a lot, but considering the old effect will become baseline, it's quite nice.

    - Glyph of Inner Fire -- Increases the armor from your Inner Fire spell by 50%. (Old: Increases the charges on your Inner Fire spell by 20.), looks like a handy boost for PVP.

    - Glyph of Exorcism -- Increases damage done by Exorcism by 20%. (Old: Your Exorcism also interrupts spellcasting for 2 sec.); with Exorcism usable on all targets, this one might become in demand.

    - Glyph of Ice Lance -- Your Ice Lance now causes 4 times damage against frozen targets higher level than you instead of triple damage. (Old: Increases the range of your Ice Lance by 5 yards); an extra 30% damage boost - what's not to like?

    - Glyph of Plague Strike -- Your Plague Strike does 60% additional damage. (Old: 20% additional damage if a disease was on the target) - a nice buff.

    - Glyph of Death Strike -- Increases your Death Strike's damage by 2% for every 5 runic power you currently have. The runic power is not consumed by this effect. (Old: 2% regardless of runic power) - in other words "this glyph's effect has been increased by 150%" :P

On the PTR right now, twinks aren't getting stats from many of their high level chants, such as 100 hp to chest, BoA w/30 stam, and most importantly, Leg kits. If this goes live, every twink is going to have to go out and get new pants. The only enchant available to legs are librams, so these will skyrocket in value.

The most valuable are Constitution, which gives 100 hp (Big money), Then Voracity (8 to a stat), Focus (8 sp power) , and other less used ones like ruimnation (150 mp)

I honestly wouldnt even bother getting the other librams. Few people use them, and the haste one wont be useful anymore since they're doing away with grandfathered gathering buffs, so lvl 10 twinks will go away.

    Happy money making

Either way, my business sense tells me that the other materials required for these items will see an increase in price and therefore may be worth stocking:
    - Titansteel Bar
    - Saronite Ore/bars
    - Eternal Earth
No idea why the links don't work, but simply replace the ***** in the URL with "************" (without the quotes) and it should be ok.

    Battlelord's Plate Boots
    Belt of the Titans
    Indestructible Plate Girdle
    Plate Girdle of Righteousness
    Spiked Deathdealers
    Titansteel Spellblade

The good old Black Diamonds we all know from vanilla WoW seem to be back. Nobody knows yet what they will result in, but it might be worth your while to check the AH. I managed to buy about 100 today for prices ranging from a few copper pieces to at most 2 silver/piece. That's at most a couple of gold with a potential profit. Even if they turn out to be completely useless, those 2g won't hurt me one bit.

    Footpads of Silence
    Lightning Grounded Boots

A level 29 blue neck with hit rating will also be introduced which looks quite awesome for levelling, considering how good hit rating is and the lack of it at low levels; This may lead to an increase in Truesilver Ore/Bars.

Note that it doesn't require engineering; whether this is final or will be fixed is to be seen, but if it stays like this it will again be an awesome trinekt for levelling (perhaps twinks too?), considering there are almost no low level trinkets if you aren't an engineer. This one is also made from Truesilver, goes without saying that it might be a good idea to stockpile it.

I don't know why this is said so many times, but DON'T stock up on black diamonds. After being cut they not become raw green BC-gems, but rather CUT BC-gems, whichs' worth can be compared to... nothing. They're worthless.

Black diamonds could still be used to level the jewelcrafting. I bought about 50 for 1g. I'm not hurting.

    Good guide.

On my realm black diamonds are going for 10-15s each. Cut green gems vendor for 25s each, and green cut gems still sell for 5-10g. Not much of a profit but Ive got almost 50 stacks.
Hey whats sup Im a wow addict wanna go out some time?
