How to make $ out of botting

YES! This might be common sense, but if it helped a single person, I am happy with it.

I've seen alot of questions latley, asking about botting related questions.
In this thread, I will give you tips, what to do, and what to not do.

I want to make it TOTALLY clear that I am NOT working / hired by any of theese companies – I am infact not hired at all atm :>.

Read thoose rules before you continue:
*Botting IS against the TOU, and has a great chanse to get you banned – if not handled properly.
*Do NEVER bot on an account that you're afraid to loose. Srs.
*Do NOT use the same CC as a botting mate does.
*Do NOT send gold / mats between the accounts, you can, but why risk it if you care about your main account?
*Banwave HAPPENS! It does, not often, but it does.


Okay, you want to start botting. But for that you need a bot, right?
The best bot (IMO!) is first:
Leveling:
Honorbuddy 15 EUR; Honorbuddy - leveling & pvp wow bot It's just completly awsome. You can start using it after 5 minutes after download.

Pirox / PVPTool 15 EUR; PiroxBots.com Your MMO Bots developer - World of Warcraft Bot / Aion Bot This is a pretty good bot. It's a keysender thought, wich I count as negative. Count with ~3 hours setting it up if you aint used to botting.

Gathering:
Gatherbuddy 25 EUR: Gatherbuddy - flying harvesting wow bot This is an awsome bot. It truly is. It takes about 10 minutes to setup correctly, be sure to read the manual thought.

Pirox / PVPTool |PREMIUM|: PiroxBots.com Your MMO Bots developer - World of Warcraft Bot / Aion Bot It's a pretty good bot, as I said above. The cost is 25 EUR for the bot, and then 5 EUR / Month for premium

I've tried those bots, and I recommend them all.

Okay, you've decided to purchase one of these, and have set it up correctly.
What to do to start earning $?
“FARMING, ZOMG!!”
Yes, but be aware of these rules:
*If you do care about your account, do NOT bot for more then 8 hours / day. Also take 1-2 days off / week. Gatherbuddy has the nice function to use guild vault, use it, it's completely awsome.
*Make your OWN profiles!!!!! Do NOT use public ones, unless you want your account banned!

Tips:
Sell Eternals, Frost Lotus & Titanium Ore at the AH, find bulk buyers for the herbs and smelt the ores.

If you want to invest 20 EUR in a server migrate, you can use the tool:
wowecon.com - World of Warcraft Auction House Price Database
to check on what realm the Frost Lotus, eternals and Titanium ore sell at highest prices. Make sure it's been like that for a while so it isn't just high for a day. You can earn a lot by doing this.

Okay, you got the gold, now what?

Get private buyers. The Chinese companies pay like shit. Purchase a vanilla account, make a char at your realm, and start spamming the trade with something like: Hello! I got X gold in stack here, and I am selling it for X. Check my feedback here: X My MSN is: X

Yeah, you get it.

Update 1:
Things that will speed up the farming / leveling, is WoWInfinity, www.ezwowgold.com , a hack wich can make you fly and give you superspeed. IF you use it while botting, you greatly increase both the income and the banrisk. It greatly speeds up the leveling (taking about questing, going to places, but NOT grinding).


I will update this thread when I remember more things. Ask questions in the thread, and yes, I know that some of this is common sense, but I am just trying to help and contribute.

UPDATE2: I saw that people want more information about and how to get private buyers.
The HUGE point of private buyers is:
1. They're usually not flagged, wich reduces the banrisk on your account ALOT.
2. More $. More money is what we all want, right? Instead of that 2.5$ that the *FLAGGED* (I aint saying that all is, but alot is.) Chinese companies pays you, you can request 5$ / k, sometimes even more! That's the double!

How to get private buyers. It's all about luck. Some things that works great is, as I said, getting a vanilla and *SOFTLY!!!!!* make ad for your gold in the channel. Like 1 message / minute. If you (preferably your mate, so they don't know who you are) doing a premade, raiding, arena etc, you can softly join their vent, talk to them friendly, discuss some things or just talk some random stuff. Then softly start to talk about gold buying, ask about their opinion, tell them that a friend of yours is selling super cheap gold on this realm, 50% of the Chinese! (7 EUR = kinda half of 5$)

Let's say you found one. WARNING! If he acts like a scammer, he probably is one. Tell them to send the money at Paypal as GIFT(!!!!!!!!). This makes the money undisputable. If he doesn't send the money as gift, return it and ask him to send it again, correct this time.
Be aware thought, scammed CC's happens. It aint that usually, but be aware of the risk.
Do NOT send them any gold before they paid you.
Also, be aware of Chinese companies, since it's quite usual that they're flagged.

There's a few ways of giving them the gold that is good.
I recommend:
1. Guild banks
2. Face to face trading.
3. He put out an auction at AH for X gold and you buy it. <-- WARNING FOR THE AH CUT!!

I do not recommend mailing, alot of very experienced people that know what they're talking about is warning for it. It's 3 other good ways, why risk it?

Legit persons that buy gold:
George / Overaggro (@ MMOWNED). I've sold 400.000 gold to him, very smooth.


WORD EXPLANATION: Flagged. Means that a GM is / is going to investigate their trades and generally their account.

NOTES: I do NOT have anything against Chinese people. I use them as an example, since people has the image that all gold sellers are Chinese.

I have been outside of the botting world for awhile now. Whenever I stopped botting was when Glider shut down and I couldn't figure out Farmer John's Bot for nothing.

Glad to see some new bots in play - you wouldn't happen to have msn or aim I could speak to you more on? I used to bot a lot and had a good amount of private buyers and a goodsetup I worked on forawhile.

Hey I am planning on buying wowinfinity once my paycheck comes in, and I was wondering if I can use it for doing quests faster, like speed and flight to decrease travel time. Looks nice, but you might want to give a list of legit buyers and tips of how you can see that someone is a "legit" private buyer, and if you spam that on trade channel it's instant ban considering your just acting like a gold seller. Might want to adjust that part, else people are just wasting 15€ only for a few spam messages in trade channel.

But especially the legit gold buyer part needs to be fixed, it's a simple tl;dr that sums up that you need to use a bot, farm, and then sell gold, but the important part is HOW do you sell it, to WHO do you sell it, how do you know who is legit, how do you search efficiently for that person etc etc etc. Well or perhaps make a list of legit gold buyers so that people know who they can contact for selling their gold.

Seriously guys, you're really going to flame him? This is a decent post and it'll help the noobies that are getting into botting. I've gotten about 5-6 PMs in the last DAY from people asking which bots to use because MMOTotus is down/ doesn't work for them.

You stated that you shouldnt use the same CC as a botting mate. What basis do you make this statement that it is more risky to use the same CC?

Gankenstein, ceveral people has gotten banned when there was a banweave, and they used the same CC as the botting mate.
@Jero; I ment like this, do not use while gathering, it's huge banrisk on that, but while leveling (NOT while grinding), questing etc, it's totally awsome!

And to the guys about the incomplete, yes, as I said, I am going to add more stuff to it, that includes that part
