i set it up on their account as a macro, changed the name, but when I say hey it does nothing? also even tricked them to click it and still no luck

It only works on skills in the bars you can still use skills from the Skill Page, But besides that awesome way to make your friends go WTF, it also seems that i lowers your FPS significantly i was running around 6-7 fps when i did it on me i usually run with around 100 most of the time.

I know this is a bit of a necro, but what the hell.

If I convince my friend to run that macro, is the "bomb" only "activated" until he logs out, or is it a permanent thing?
ex. If he executed that macro, could I whisper him "hey" in a week and have the same effect?

EDIT: Another question, does the "hey" part have to be the whole whisper, or does it have just to be contained in it?
ex. I make the trigger word "up." Does it work when I whisper him with "what's up?"

Actually, I was playing with the cataclysm pics idea, and I found that

/run type="Cataclysm"

works, so probably just about anything in the quotes will work. I had to add the "Cataclysm", because people were saying that just

/run type=""

sounded like i was trying to crash them, and made people suspicious

what if you'de create a marco(taht actually does soemthing liek casting a spell or a ascii image but you add taht to the end, you put it on a website or send it to your friends taht are playign WoW and when they press the macro it activates the

you dont need to be with a friend in LAN, just login with a friends acc, and create a new makro.. macros are saved server side, or not?
