Blizzard will NEVER ban an account just because the IP has changed. NEVER. If they ban you for power leveling, it's because the Chineses used bots.

There is another alternative than "traveling around" Claim you were away and never noticed someone gained unauthorized access to your account. And begin process of reclaimed "hijacked" account starting with PW change and other stuff.

This may work just once so get all the PL you need in one go, then claim your account was stolen when it's banned.

Smart idea but im too paranoid to ever try anything that could possibly get me banned. If you have a conversation with a GM asking about a certain strategy or method uve come across and they say its ok, screenshot it..several times... then if u get banned u simply send the pic of the approval and they unban you for "ignorance" or "false advice"

I had a situation where I had to explain a chinese IP logged on some hours after I logged off - they had me on 72 hour suspension for further investigation. I live in Europe btw.

I acted innocent and said my daughter was in Asia with my ex, and she (my daughter) sometimes played on my account. The Blizz representative didn't even bother to ask why my daughter gained so many levels, but I would have made a good story up anyways. (she's bored, has ad/hd whatever - doesn't really matter since it's not Blizzards business why my "daughter" plays so much.)
Roughly a day later the suspension was lifted.

Also have in mind that Blizz logs your IP when you log on to the forums, armory etc so beware of that while you have your account powerlevelled.. DONT fall for the temptation of logging in anywhere!!
I they flag your account, crosschecking IP's is probably the first natural thing to check out.
