Alright so ive come to 45 and both tried Strat and LBRS but cant seem to figure em out to make it worthwhile.. anyone has some tips and some routes or something? Rep awarded!

Hmm... friend and I tried... the lowbie got no xp at all. Here is what we did step by step.

1) 70 mage, 70 paladin, 27 warlock enter SM as a group.
2) Mage leaves group while paladin pulls mobs DOING NO DMG AT ALL
3) Paladin AOE's mobs to 20%
4) Mage frost novas mobs in place
5) Frost nova is the queu for paladin to run out and lowbie to cast rain of fire AOE thingy.
6) Mage kills mobs, while lowbie and paladin are still in group - but only mage and lowbie are in the instance ( mage ungrouped)
7) lowbie gets NO xp...

What am I doing wrong? Is there Paladin supposed to leave the group at one point?

i can PL my noob to 40-45 just fine, but i tried out BRD, and it was a disaster, where is a good place to go at that level range, and how does the pull order go?

LBRS is pretty good for 50s

Unholy first 1 question did the mage frost nova while the pally was still in the instance if so that is why your lowbie got no exp. The pally must be out of the instance before the mage does any damg if not it wont work hope that helps.

the mage can do damage before the pally zones out. just make sure the mage drops group b4 the pally aoes, then the mage can do w/e he wants.

I suggest doing ZF and Mara for a bit more (mobs are close together and easy to kill, then move on to LBRS (BRD if you feel LBRS a bit tiresome) then lastly strat/scholo

I did Strat from 45-55. Side Entrance.
1. Pull the first pack run back and kill
2. Pull the next 2 packs run back and kill
3. Go Left pull the first 2 packs (watch out for patchwork dont pull him 16k hp annoying) run back and kill
4. Wait for Patchwork to run by. Pull Patchwork back a bit and kill. Do Not run him back for XP just kill him.
5. Pull the 2 packs (consist of bout 5 mobs each pack) to your left and run back and kill.
6. Pull the 2 and 3 mobs of Ghoul they are all elite run them back and kill.
7. Go left again and pull the remaining mobs should be 1 5 mobs pull and 2 or 3 ghouls.
8. Reset Instance and repeat 1-7

btw if you see Eye of Naxx spawn kill it.

I didn't do BRD or LBRS cause of mobs doing alot more annoying stuff. like net, knockback, pummel, shield bash....

only thing you have to watch out for in Strat is the berserker mobs which pummel but since they are non-elites when ur pally AoE Concecrates non-elites will die leaving only Elite mobs for lowbie to get XP.

Each mob gives roughly anywhere from 600-1300xp.

Did this with Holy Pally with S3 gears and Weak 70 Mage with 629+dmg

70 Holy Pally - S3 geared
70 Arms War - S3 geared
70 Combat Rogue - S3/Kara geared
70 Resto Druid - S3 geared


You can do SP basically with any type of healer and any DPS but with a well geared mage will work best.

I ran thru the whole instance. Clearing all mobs.

I'll explain what I did with Resto Druid, Arms War and the Combat Rogue.

Arms war will pull 2 packs run it back to lowbie. Lowbie leaves party and tags. 70's start to kill as soon as they grey to them. rinse and repeat this. each mobs gives roughly around 2500-3000k xp. each pull we did was worth around 11k+ xp.

All 3 bosses you can do the same. arms war pulls. lowbie leaves party tags it and 70's kill.

First 2 Bosses gives 4500-5k XP
Last Boss gives 7500-9k XP

You can get a full party of 70's to help. It'll go even faster and can pull 3-4 packs of mobs instead.

I tried UB but not worth it since killing them takes longer and too many Single mobs to pull slows XP down.

I tried SV sucks cause healers go OOM too fast and slows down xp when they need to rest always.

I tried MT but sucks cause mobs mana burn.

Overall i'm prolly gonna finish my leveling in SP.

55-60 you will average 1 level every 15mins. from 60-70 you are gonna average 1 level 45mins to 1.5hours. Depending on how many 70s you have and how fast your killing stuff.
