Retrieving sold Account! Please Help! (will +rep)

Hi guys!
A friend of mine has got a problem with his account. He sold it about half a year ago over ebay and did not give the buyer the answer to his secret question, nor the cd-key. Somehow it seems that the buyer has changed the e-mail, since he cannot change the password via the "Lost Password" system on wow-europe.com

Is there any support to change the mail/password with the following information?

- CD-Key
- Contact Adress
- Secret Question & Answer
- Login Name of Account

yes there is, click on this link: World of Warcraft Europe -> Support Webform and and choose comprimised account and then just fill out the form and wait and bang the account is yours

Don't your friend have the Full Name? If that's so he can just call Blizzard and get the email changed within a few minutes.

Yes as Woink explained, just call blizzard and retrieve the information.

As other's have said it's pretty simple to do. I have recalled so many accounts in the past that I'm a pro at it now. I am in the US but an EU account should be the same. All he needs is the first and last name of the account, and the secret answer.

Have him call Blizzard and they will ask for those and have him make something up. You don't want to tell Blizzard that you sold your account and want it back. My usual lie is that the email registered to the account is deactivated now and I need it changed to my current one. Blizzard will change it without question and reset the password sending it to your friend's desired email. Easy as cake.

I have recalled almost every account I've sold with this method, not once have I been asked for cd keys or any other proof of identify.
