Hello I'm making some tips because I had all kinds of trojans and spyware on my crappy pc...So hope this helps people who are infected or want to avoid being infected!


1. HAVE A DECENT FIREWALL RUNNING AND UP TO DATE
KAPERSKY INTERNET SECURITY IS A GREAT ONE.

2. AVOID TORRENTS MOST OF THEM ARE VIRUS, TROJANS AND OTHER CRAPPY JUNK
TO KILL YOU PC.

3. AVOID PORN WEBSITES NOOBS!!! xD
THESE SITES CAN INFECT ADWARE ON YOUR PC!

4. AVOID DOWNLOADS FROM UNKNOWN PUBLISHERS
ONLY USE THE ONES YOU TRUST

5. Before DOWNLOADING ANYTHING TO HACK OR WHATEVER
ANYTHING, ALWAYS , ALWAYS , ALWAYS SCANNED THE FREAKIN THING!

6. Make sure when you installed the file AFTER SCANNING FROM
THE ONLINE SOURCES ABOVE. THIS IS OPTIONAL : PUT THE FILE ON YOUR DESKTOP ...AND RIGHT CLICK
IT AND LOOK FOR A SCAN OPTION BY KAPERSKY
OR AVAST.

7.Hope this guide helps avoiding some virus's its not much.

What this has to do with scams, I'm not sure, but some of your information isnt really correct.
First off, firewalls are often unnecessary if you're behind a decent router ( almost all of which have a hardware firewall built-in ). Firewalls dont play much of a part in preventing spyware and the like, and many use up a ton of system resources. Next, torrents aren't necessarily bad. Just make sure to get them from a reputable tracker, not something like mininova or other public sites. Also, one of the most important things that you didnt mention was keeping Windows up-to-date. That will remove alot of the vulnerabilities that allow mal-ware in your PC in the first place.

The best tip I can give is to keep your important stuff backed up, and do a format/reinstall of Windows every 6 months. This is the only fool-proof way to clean your PC. Otherwise, good guide.
