    Hey, in some email scams, it says that u need an IP hider b4 u do this or ur _)@!#ed.... Im wondering, is this so the person u scammed cant get to you, or so blizz blizz cant to something bad?

    Well you don't want the person you're scamming to know what IP you have I've seen some nasty storys about people messing around with scammers because they got their Personal Information by just the scammers IP.

    Also Blizzard knowing you IP could get you into trouble as your breaking legal actions.

    I don't know if that answers your question just remember to scam anynomosly or however it's spelled.

    well I guess Ill give u my situation, A while ago i did the email scam and never did anything with the dudes account, so im pretty sure he completely forgets that I exsist, but, I cant buy a full version of an IP hider so I cant really go anonymously to email blizz and get the account for myself..I was just wondering,, if I did get the account without using a hider, can i get in trouble?

    Your ip is pretty easy to get. However you can hide your ip with certain proxys and programs. IP hide is a very nice program but will cost you money. You can also go through a proxy server, but be careful some of these are transparent. You can also change your ip very easily depending on your internet provider. With roadrunner i can change mine by rebooting my modem.

    honestly nothings ever gonna happen to you from phishing unless youre going for the big stuff (paypal, banks)
