That really sucks!
That really sucks!
ur fine![]()
think of it this way.
eBay owns PayPal. eBay banned listings for buying / selling gold and accounts. So if eBay owns PayPal , same rules should apply it for it also.
So basically they would be shooting themselves in the foot.
u will get in jaili`m sorry for you but this is the truth.. if u don`t give the money back they will :
1. get you`re ip
2. alter the US police
3. the police will transfer the case you you`re country`s police
4. you`re country police will get u`re adress and all info from you`re ISP
5. they will knock on you`re door and take u to tha precinct
6. they`ll take u to court
7. if u don`t pay u go to jail
I`m sorry 4 u![]()
there is something called international police or something,
it is true that the US cops can't sue you because you are in EU..so they might get the international police force to deal with you
The thing is would they really go through all the trouble to track him for a couple hundred bucks, although it was someone elses... The outcome of this will be interesting.
I think they owned you. Using a stolen card is a felony >.>
You are free to go the same thing happened to me few years ago and never heard anything from the cops or whatever ......
Lol i bought gold with a fake credit card no proxy and im still fine O wait someones knocking at the door its 5:20Am who would want me this early in the morning. Nah ur fine the company would get sued by blizz anyway for selling gold..
Plus, he lives in Europe so it would defiently be harder for them to track him down.
ROFL!!! This is the most idiotic thing I've read. Not so much the stolen credit card but using it whilst not using an anonymous proxy. WTF were you thinking?!?!
Suffice to say mate, like all the others have said - I wouldn't worry about the gold and PP shite. Worry more about the stolen credit card that you used on your own IP. Not only can they trace it all back to your IP but more than likely also obtain your full details from your ISP. Police will be called and it can get much more serious. Because scamming is very very common, they might even confiscate your computers and freeze all accounts under you and your families name mistaking you for some big scam artist. Several months later and you'll be feeling the pinch as well.
You won't be going to jail (unless it's more strict in Europe) but I can guarantee that you'll be paying very hefty fines and receive a conviction as well.
