Actually, I have a little question about the Character Transfer Bit. For those who have done that, is there any chance that Blizzard will reverse the transfer and make your new account 'useless' and money wasted?

It is possible, but highly unlikely. If the real owner really cared about his account, he would send in his birth certificate, id, and basically everything about him. MAYBE he would get his account back.

You phish accounts,
scam gold on it,
sell gold to companies who buy,
profit =]

as for cash, you can always get a credit card and atm your money out.

It is possible for them to get it back. Trust me. The best way to prevent it is to ban the original account as fast as possible for something like pedophilia.

Also, the thread that is referred to regarding Paypal is invalid.

You would be surprised at what kind of people end up falling for phishers. The kind who have been playing for 4 years sometimes.

The pedo crap only gets you a small a ban. It would take ages to ban the account like that. Why not just speed hack?

I have actually tried to get banned with speedhacked. Couldn't do it for some reason. Ran around Ironforge for a good half hour with not so much as a disconnect. So I moved on to pedo junk.

Yes, I did include banning the original account in my guide. Spamming the N word for a good 15 minutes will definitely get you perm banned.

I have an idea for people who are scamming gold in game to maximize profit.

Haven't seen anyone say something about this before and I can't make a thread about it, it seems to fit in this thread though.

Basically if you have two scammed accounts (Account A and Account B). You have 10,000g on Account A that you scammed. Trade it to Account B, then using account A pretent to scam the gold from Account B, control both sides of the conversation. Then Sell the gold to mmofly or whatever on Account A. Using account B ticket the scam and get the gold back and then sell it again, effectively selling the same gold twice making double the profit.

Could also be done with 3 accounts so that trading the gold to the second account wont seem as suspicious to Blizzard.

Just an idea, (sorry if someone has already said something like this I couldnt find it).

Good idea. You gotta be careful with the ip logs and stuff to pull that off.

Considering the gold being sold to whatever site would presumably be scammed gold anyways, the only part that would be hard is making it look as though the one account got scammed legit, possibly if you had a partner on those other accounts pretending to be scammed or something so it would be a completely different IP

But then you would still have to somehow get the money to the second account so the first one can scam it. Unless the money started on the account your pretending to scam, like an account you scammed and got a legit 5k gold on or w/e

I'm writing whats coming to my head as it does so, sorry if im making no sense
