Wait, wait wait. So this is how they are busting you guys? You're using usernames associated with your RL info to commit fraud? ROFL.

Anyone tying their RL name with a scamming identity deserves to be busted.. Seriously, common sense people...

Obviously I used google to search his name? If he didn't pop up on google, I wouldn't have used any resources to try to find out who the kid is. Ubrpwnt, Verye, CookieMonster (sp) didn't pop up on google. Buy2k2 didn't pop up on google. 80% of scammers don't pop up on google. This is stupid, if I didn't use google I would be an idiot, but it's not all I have at my disposal.

KalamosX (12:54:35 PM): Whos Mr. Thomas?
kathunx (12:54:43 PM): the kid who posted that
kathunx (12:54:47 PM): it's his last name
    KalamosX (12:57:02 PM): Jeus
    KalamosX (12:57:04 PM): You're good
    KalamosX (12:57:05 PM): >.>
    kathunx (1:00:11 PM): eh
kathunx (1:00:12 PM): it was on google
kathunx (1:00:15 PM): took like 30 seconds

Also to add in, I at one point (as you all saw'll) didn't believe him, and thought he was just another one of the 1000 liars, before you flame him go into AIM and talk to him.

BTW "Jackal's = Google"? KAthunx isn't a jackal so how does that all the sudden classify them as google?

I guess I'm just amazed that people who are commiting what amounts to fraud tie together their scamming identity to *any* real-life detail. And that doesn't just include what you can find through Google. I'm sure the majority of scammers aren't using a proxy, or use their home computers and ISP, or send scammed money to their RL paypal. Those of you with myspace pages that talk about your scamming or mention your scamming exploits just make me /facepalm.

It's amazing to me to see threads posted here along the lines of "Scamming is wrong, you could get in trouble".. No kidding, really?

Again, it all amounts to common sense. If you commit murder and drop the weapon at the crime scene, why be shocked when the police dust it for fingerprints and catch you? If you're going to scam, be smart. Also know that there are smarter people out there than you too who may be motivated to catch you. Yes, a shocker I know.

    Dude, shut the hell up.
Did you think I was serious?
Come on, Kat would not go through a crapload of trouble just to get OP's last name.
