New Twist to the TCG Scam!

Hello Everyone, this is my first post in the scamming section and it involves a new "twist" to the TCG scam!

New TCG Twist (How To...)

We've all heard of the TCG scam and how often it works. Personally I've scammed over 10K gold on my server and I've ran out of victims to scam.

This scam involves scamming the opposite faction on your server!

Here is a step by step guide on how to scam people of the opposite faction! The only thing you will need is a separate account. (This isn't so much of a problem, because lots of people use a separate account for scamming anyhow!)

1) Refer yourself to one of the MANY TCG scamming guides. Here is my favorite - http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-sc...-improved.html

2) Make a character for the opposing faction. If your alliance make a horde character and if your horde make an alliance character.

3) Follow on guide on how to scam someone using the TCG method! Make sure you sound convincing!

AFTER YOU HAVE SCAMMED YOUR VICTIM

4) Head to one of the neutral auction house's. Catch my drift yet?

5) On your main post up something like linen cloth for 1,000 gold or however much you've scammed. Buy this auction with the account that you've successfully scammed with.

NOTE: Instead of selling in one of the major cities. Head over to BootyBay in the beginning. Join the LookingForGroup channel. Spam your macro there. You'll most likely get a tell in that channel.

I take NO CREDIT for the TCG scam, but...
I DO take credit for coming up with this scam for scamming the opposite faction using the TCG scam.

Yes very common sense. But, this scam involves scamming the opposite faction on your server.

This would work, yet Warden can view this and u can get a really bad ban from this :S

I think the risk is just as high as scamming with any other method.

Hmm yes but doesn't the Neutral AH in Bootybay cut like 1/3 of the money you have? Or something close. I trasnfered 500G over to a horde twink on a Normal server and all i got was about 390G. Its crazy.

I'm not quite sure what the AH cut is. But still, if you scam 1,000 gold and you get to keep like 900 gold. Who cares. It's all scammed money.
