many retail stores also have a customer service rule saying that they cannot stop you for shoplifting unless they see you do it. and if they do see you do ti, they arent allowed to stop you until you are leaving the uilding and were beeped by the security RF tag readers.

and then, they are not allowed to leave the store to follow you.. so the only time they really hae to catch you is those 3 steps you take when you go by the security towers before you reach the doors..

i worked at barnes and nobles last summer... thats how it was for us, you see homeless people walk in and out of the place all the time.. and every time they beep...

I always get a couple groceries before i got into the eletronics, act like you arnt buying anything, then go to clothes & get a shitty dress shirt and try it on.

No point in trying to actually steal the cards or anything, the thing that is most useful that my friend does is simply:

1. purchase the card,
2. take it home,
3. use a razor blade on the little plastic strip covering the code (practice a bit before you try it on the actual card) and gently lift it off.
4. Then take the strip without getting it dirty, and put it onto a piece of wax paper or some other material so that it wont lose its stickiness nor get all wrinkled.
5. Jot down the code.
6. Replace the little scratch off strip right onto where it was, make sure there are no signs of tampering.

Now this is where u can go 1 or 2 ways...

Way one...
7. Return the card to the store just as you purchased it, say some excuse as to your purchasing and remain calm when they check the little strip
8. GO home and Use the GC code
9. Feel bad for the next person to buy that card xD
10. Profit

Or another way...
7. Use the GC code.
8. Go and return the card, saying it did not work for some reason and that you would like another. Make up some excuse that will make them toss the card. At target they throw away most all GC returns which people say didnt work
9. Go home with a fresh unused GC
10. Profit! 120 Days of Gametime for the price of 60!
