    Using Detect Invisibility in 6.1.0

It turns out we still have detect invisibility in World of Warcraft. Maybe you guys already knew about it but I performed multiple searches on OC and it came up with nothing on the subject so here it is.

If this is a repost I apologize.

works everywhere as far as I know, but I think you are thinking of stealth, that doesn't count as invisibility. It would detect an invisible succubus though, if I remember correctly thats how it used to work. If it can be used to detect rogues, that would be great, you should try it out.

It's not. Im not sure if it's intended though. Oh and.. for reference, the engineering item exploding sheep has pretty damn good stealth detection as well. It'll explode on any stealthy that gets near and is much better than what people percieve it to be. . Good to know

The reason I think its working as intended is because when you do the green fire warlock quest they have you use this method to pass a certain part. The reason I put it up though is because I wasn't sure if people realized that effect could be used outside that quest line.

it's not an exploit and definitely working as intended, the buff you gain when you summon the eye clearly states 'detects invisibility'
