CE , detected if not using felz way?

As i just read the post felz had im just wondering if its really true that its detected, i ran cheat engine with mountain and speedhack yesterday and none of his way of hiding it. I dident get banned, so do i really need to use his way of protection?

after major updates to the server, warden is taken down for a period of time.
patch 2.05 ( or something like that, i don't really know this stuff ;D)
just came out, along with the Burning Crusade

Wouldent that mean BWH and all thoose hacks are currently undetected if warden is down now?
