Ok help me out here folks got a weird dilemma

Basically I had a 19 rogue, my pride and joy, a true gem with shadowfangs, LFH, 2x AGM talbar ,mantle (back when it was BiS) , butchers slicer, seal of sylvanas, etc

anyways I haven't logged into that account for a while and now that I finally did, upon logging in I somehow discovered Dranosh'ar Blockade and dinked 20(I guess somehow the XP got enabled again and I was like 1 pt from dinking)


I heard that if you immediately delete the toon, WTF, cache files, etc and do a GM ticket for a character restore if done fast enough the server hasn't updated your toon to as the next level, and you get your 19 back? Will it work? here I am sitting right now still logged in

Or am I screwed with this 20

does the armory see if you are 20 even if you are still logged in?

does blizz function differently from the armory( ex armory still shows up as 19 but in ''their'' database im already shown as a 20)


What if I join my friends guild or something then he will ''hack'' me on purpose and gquit/ delete the toon will blizzard see a level 20 or 19 joined the guild? And then submit a ticket to them and ask to restore a 19?

There is no way in hell I would get deleveled,, what about asking them to move gear on a brand new 19 rogue of the same race?

Asking them to move gear for you to a new toon is exactly like asking them to de-level you is exactly like asking them to give you FULL MYTHIC GEAR and 1 trillion gold. It's not gonna happen..

Your best bet is to let one of your friends login from another location and have him delete ALL your stuff and give you a few more levels.. Then you can put in a ticket and tell them someone hacked you and your twink is now level 24ish and all your twink gear is gone

You can say you ****ed up and didn't want to level...

yeah will probably end up doing this I just wanted to ask more experienced members because I heard that blizzard could use cached data from before a server transfer (and the window in which that data remains is small) to like see if I was still 19 or something

Blizzard wont de-level your toon.


My mate had a 60 twink warrior with all the good stuff, got hacked and leveled to like 65, he couldnt get it de leveled.



Whenever there is a new expansion. ALWAYS, ALWAYS make sure you turn off xp before the expac launched, because xp gets squished to make leveling faster for 1 - xx and usually you will get your xp pushed to 1 point remaining until you level.

Blizzard can de-level toons and they've done this in the past. There are certain 19 twinks with the lvl 20 achieve, and even some with 20 quest gear.

just as Vehemity said, recently they've deleveled tons(a few) 19s who accidently went 20 after their account went into veteran status(xp turns automatically on) and then accidentally leveld 20. if that was your case, then you're good to go to make a ticket and explain what happened and they will most likely delevel you. I've played US 70 twinks for the last 6 years and that one dude playing a nightelf druid named Bonefragment dinged 71 multiple times and managed to get de-leveled at least 2 times in the last years.
