Well instance farming is double the profit now theoretically cause you can do 10x an hour instead of 5x an hour so sounds like gold farming but who knows seems normal for a gold farmer but alot of effort ($2,000ish) for an exploit of somekind for a gold farmer thats probably pretty reasonable though if they are making like $200 a day back.

From what I've collected of information, it's more than one person doing this. "The main guy" has around 24 druids with finger roll names. I tried searching a few of the names and it turns out there are ~24 druids with the same hgrjehgk name on 24 different servers. The other druids might be another guy or it may be the same guy. They farm for the Blade of Wizardry that sells for 40k, along with epic gems selling for ~10g depending on server along with selling junk, greens, blues and epics to the vendor.

Read here, its not a handfull of bots. We are talking about thousands of them on every server.

They seem to be gone now. I can't see any on EU Silvermoon, Terenas, Chromaggus or Draenor on either factions.

they're back, 40 druids on my servers (sylvanas and frostmane).

such a shame, they've destroyed the market. and you're a fool if you believe that they actually pay for the boosts. They just scam blizzard (as they used to with the RAF, unfreeze codes etc - stolen cc, chargebacks etc) - they bot 24h/day until Blizz found out that the payments were fraudolent and ban the accounts. Then they just "buy" more boosts.

Blizzard NEED to do something about this, like granting the character boost after a week or so like they do with the RAF rewards now, otherwise the gold business is over for normal people.

Blizz has nerfed old raid drop rates on trash items, not sure if this includes patterns etc, I would assume not. Mainly cloth, gems etc. This will force all those bots into other areas to farm, will be interesting to see where they head to next.

I got the Blade of Wizardry yesterday when running BT on a whim. I used to run it weekly on 6 toons and never saw this drop. My AH has 9 of these for sale at the moment, so you got it.

Have you got any profiles ? hb only has 1 I know of & it doesn't seem to be working with some of the newer changes to hb builds :-/ at least for me anyway..

I'm sure Botanist68 has more on HB.
