Downloading "cracked software" leads to pretty much a guaranteed ban. Say you're a wizard buying invisible paint (to make you invisible). The real paint from the good store is $19.95 (Billy Mays sells it), while you know you can get your own paint from stealing it from your neighbors (who happened to just dilute it, so it kinda sucks).

You decided to steal from your neighbor and rob a bank. UH OH! You got caught, because the guards (GM's) saw right through your invisible paint. Since there was no added security and updated protection, you got ****ed.

Earlier in chatting i mentioned the guild bank method. I try to sell only in chunks of 100k (to make it worth it). I log in -> log on all my accounts -> create a guild for them (takes 10 minutes) -> drop the gold in the bank, pass GM and leave.

That's been the best method so far. I have private buyers who buy often from me, so I tend to just keep the lowbie in the guild. No harm yet.

technically botting is illegial

Botting is not illegal, it's against Blizzards ToU (or your user agreements with using their software). You won't have police coming after you for botting, unless you ignore cease and desists.

Quick question.. i know that what im about to refer to happened a while ago but is there something you have against torrents? you did sell gold and admit to selling gold i have nothing against either and dont do either (and i dont buy gold) is it just you've changed since your gold selling days?

I'm a professional software developer. I work hard at what I do, and to hear someone blatantly go about saying they're ignoring the handwork for their gains is disheartening. I take it personal.

Selling gold was a simple source of income when I lived in a rural part of the Unite States. I was able to generate upwards of thousands of dollars a month at some points. I wouldn't go back to it, I ended up with extreme depression. I'm not well at balancing my time, I became obsessed with making money and gold from a videogame.

Since you seem to agree that my realms AH sucks lol is another method you would recommend for making a decent amount of gold regularly. Besides profession kits, one person seems to try selling those on my realm and he doesn't have much luck just a little here and there. What about selling lvl 25 guilds or something. Since between my friend and i we have 5 bots and accounts there must be something lol

With 5 bots, running reg scenarios over and over, it takes about 3 weeks to level a guild to 25. They nerfed that a long time ago, it's not profitable. What I could see being profitable is creating a circular botting coalition of sorts.

1 bot herb
1 bot mine
1 bot fish
1 bot cook -> alchemy -> jewelcraft
1 bot disenchant -> AH bot

Run all these guys together and you could generate great gold regardless of worth of economy. You'll be covering all basic niches.
