The only reseller I sell to, is Ket on these forums. I can only trust his team to not do me wrong. They don't pay top dollar, but you take that as a fee for the trust factor. Every 50k gold, sell it to them for like $30-35.

Transmog is one of my worst auction categories. I know nothing about that market. I recommend talking to ElvineMod - for transmog profitting. He's the best reseller for those items.

She/he has slowed my farming down back in the RaF buying days. I haven't used Pr3cious since, and won't forward business to them.

I couldn't tell you on a single account. One time I was GM of 5 level 25 guilds, all with profession leveling kits and TCG mounts, and a few mil gold. Sold some of it to pay rent ($1100) a few times at the end of the months. So you can say over 1 year, i was able to average $1500/month in sales? It started off slow though, don't get me wrong I probably never thought I would get that large, my first big payout was $75 to one of the old spammers before Mmowned was ownedcore.

Some people who just play the AH have made 1-2k average a month. It takes a LOT of effort to do it in just that way though.

I can vouch for that statement, I was 23, no job except WoW. I became a recluse, insomniac with extreme depression and poor health. I don't recommend playing wow for a living. It's very bad for your well being. Unless you can balance things well, then by all means.

That's why I moved back to NY. I needed to get away from this, I admit I didn't have enough discipline to tell myself how to get away from it. I loved the job title, the activity and the temporary outcome. I however, am permanently scarred for taking 18 months of my life away to play a video game. I still play, but not as a full time job. Maybe 20hrs a week now.

You're in luck! Battlechests are up to level 80!!!!

You can generate so much gold from a level 80 (especially if you want to spoil them in panda 409 gear). Take your time, research your server and look what sells the best.

I had bought 6 months of RaF gametime, at a time. Didn't dent my income too badly, bought them for 5k/month. I don't do that now, I use real $15/month.

I used profession buddy which hooks into the ARelog API. You can learn about that via the Honorbuddy website.

I'm following with interest this thread and I've just started to plan how to
I have some very noobish questions tho:
1) My mains are on EU servers but I'd love to bot for profit on US: so I'll use a different computer, with different OS too on different realms and accounts. Any advice for it? Blizzard will check my ip and ban my main account if I'm playing from the same home?
2) I'm pretty sure about it but to use bots is illegal only in terms of violating EULA but is not illegal in general, right?
3) I'll start with a 5$ battle chest and levelling something new on a server: what about the server? I mean: how can I check what is the best server to start with? I know.. is a no sense question but still in need for any useful advice I'll do a druid to start maybe a tauren one with herbalism bonus and mining .. or something like that
4) I'm on my way to buy Honorbuddy to learn how it works: any useful link for programming it? And for levelling the druid?
5) For paying it's better to create a pretty new paypal?
