3 hours a day should bring you about 2500g in this given market. Your best bet is to bot 3 hours, turn off the bot for at least another hour. Then if you have to, throw it on for another few hours. I can't recommend botting for 5hrs straight at this time. It's very risky. No human literally farms herbs and ore for 5 hours, it looks sketchy should someone report you.

So your saying i could do 3 hours on 1 hour off 3 hours on 2 hours off and so on? Im not interested in making like 20k a day. 3-5k a day is perfect for me.

Yes, make it seem like a human logic. It's honestly not how much you bot, it's how you bot that triggers the red flag. I can turn my archaeology bot on for 3-4 days and not get banned.

Right, I actually am fairly good at doing that. I pretty much monitor my bot 24/7 which basically uses human logic because when i get bored of monitoring i log off and stop botting.

I made an account specifically to ask you, because I've been on the fence about getting honor buddy. First, is it really that safe? I know as long as you don't play all day and run it all night, and have your account up for like 3 days straight, it SHOULD be safe. Any comments? Also like I said, I don't yet have the program but I'm on the verge of getting it. I play on an extremely populated server, how should I start making money? Should I use a profession bot, do archeology...? I have no idea. Also, I read you mentioning shuffling... what is that? Sorry for the long question, and surely to be a follow up lol, not everyday that you can ask someone who's successfully made a living off of botting!

Edit: After doing some reading into it, what profiles do you use/recommend to not get caught? Someone said Skyshard farming made them ~100k a day but was a high chance of getting banned? I don't understand the different levels of risk.

Hey! Welcome to Ownedcore.

The safest way to bot, is to not bot where people could see you. Think of alternative ways to do it. For example: I'm working on profiles and bot logic right now that farm heroics for me. 5 accounts, 5 toons 1 healer, 1 tank and 3 dps. Why you ask? Well, I can farm instances over and over without ANYONE seeing me at all. The biggest part of getting banned for botting, i've found, is people getting caught by other people.

Honorbuddy offers a trail run. Like a 3 day trial run. Give it a try, bot for an hour. See what feels good for you. If it makes you scared to get caught, don't do it! If you think of methods of farming that I haven't mention, ask me here. I'll help you out and brainstorm with you.

Shuffling is a simple concept of taking ore/herbs and breaking it down to their ultimate uses for other people.

1. to make profiles to do the loremaster achievement so it will also help with completing all quests on all my lowbies too.
2. to make profiles of combinations of sunsong ranch farms to do the different work orders each day. different toons do different combinations of seeds.

any ideas of links of sites where I can learn to code my own profiles?

There is some preparation, just check out the forums: thebuddyforums.com - and look at profession profiles. read what people have made.

Take apart other profiles people have made already. That's honestly the best way to learn. Take a look at profile syntax in honorbuddy's wiki: Honorbuddy & Gatherbuddy Wiki - Buddy Wiki

From there, download some of other developers profiles, and just start to notice how they make things. If you need some guidance on profile syntax, let me know. Their API can be counter intuitive sometimes for developers.

Ah I see, fair enough.

Anyways you mentioned advertising to pugs, etc. Just to clarify you say this over vent and don't type it in chat correct? I mean I've seen a few guildies advertise that they sell gold, but it's usually in a pretty respectful manner that most don't take issue with. I can't imagine sending out a broadcast in LFR chat that you sell gold would end well though.

Hey there, would you say it's profitable to buy a bunch of accounts to start botting with and sell the gold with today's market?

How many accounts would be best?
Should i use the 5$ battle chests?
I have a computer that can run over 10 wow.exe at the time but would it be safer to use more PCs with different IPs?
I'm from EU, but do you think i should split the accounts on EU/US?
Was thinking of maybe having couple gatherer/shuffle accounts and some sniping accounts. Or should skip the sniping accounts?
