How would be go about changing this as the forum is down?
How would be go about changing this as the forum is down?
Not to sound like i support pirating HB or anything but....
People here are ok with the stuff in the elite guides section (zygors, pulse, dugis, all those gold guides)
but, stealing HB is somehow bad and wrong?
Um, again, im not suggesting any change here, but i cant be the only one to see the double standard here.

On the other hand, CM doesn't have such issues. Thanks for making me change similar passwords to my forum pass Bossland. Will gladly buy your products next time.. Just before the world ends.
You must realize Apoc is an admin of these forums, he's contributed a lot of great things to both honorbuddy and mmowned/ownedcore. For his own forums to have a cracked version of his software that he sells on another site.
Not to mention, it's "against" terms of use to sell addons that are developped for/with world of warcraft interface. (referring to zygor/dugi blah blah) So technically you're not pirating anything from them that shouldn't be free to begin with.
UI Add-On Development Policy - Forums - World of Warcraft
1) Add-ons must be free of charge.
All add-ons must be distributed free of charge. Developers may not create "premium" versions of add-ons with additional for-pay features, charge money to download an add-on, charge for services related to the add-on, or otherwise require some form of monetary compensation to download or access an add-on.
2) Add-on code must be completely visible.
The programming code of an add-on must in no way be hidden or obfuscated, and must be freely accessible to and viewable by the general public.

I think Zygors and Dugi's gets around that technicality by selling access to there forums, where Zygors is located or some such nonsense. again, im not saying theres anything wrong here, but from a casual glance at it it does seem like a double standard.

Not at all speaking for OC:
I agree in appearance it does seem like a double standard, but there is one clear distinction that I see. Those are guides that provide information. Yes, some of them have specialized in-game addons and such, but they are not "code". They are providing information that is freely available on the internet.
It's also not just about Apoc being an admin here, because we also protected Jadd's hacks and other "premium" hacks as long as they followed the forum rules. Also some applications have paid for the ability to "sell" their software here. Finally, we don't support pirated software. It doesn't matter if it was written by Blizzard or my mom, it's still software.
When they say "until" is that good or bad grammar? When they say accounts created until Oct 2012, that means accounts created PREVIOUS to Oct 2012? So I should be okay if I reg'd like two weeks ago?
...... Are you serious? If you absolutely have to point out errors like that, don't make any of your own. That's pretty much rule numero uno x.x.
OT: So HB got f***ed huh?, at least they're putting the customers first - offering new keys, informing their users straight away.
Massive amount of ''omg blizz did it'' threads inc. >.<
You realize that you are being a hypocrite right? Grammar or not, you pointed out his error just as much as you accused him of pointing out grammar flaws. Not to mention, just because a grammar question is asked does not automatically mean someone is being a grammar nazi. The question was the clarify the meaning of "until" in the release.
To answer the question:
As I read it, all the time up to that date has been affected. Looks like for the forums anything Nov 2010 and before, your key up to Oct 2012, but those are getting replaced. So no it doesn't sound like you are affected.
Ah well the HB forums are up, so just pointing that out.
