Beta launch date?

First, no this is not a thread telling people when the launch date is.

I just found something out on the website of wow, which is kinda hidden.

This is today.... Does this mean the opening of the WotlK beta? It is some sort of Ice wall that is getting open, so I think that when this one opens fully up, we got to play WotlK beta. The last alpha updates have been launched, and Beta will follow soon.

Anyway, im gonna check the wow site everyday to check if this is true.

I love the way Blizz handles secrets xD

Yesterday there was one, now there are two :S

The first is from left from the center, the other is right upper from the center, if you watch closely

I don't know about yesterday, but the background today is called ice2 if you check it when you save the image, hmmm..

I think this also could be for Diablo or starcraft. But it is Ice, and Ice is the main theme in WotlK... lets hope it is WotlK

It will not be WotLK beta. The alpha just practically started. The beta tends to be more stress testing and cleaning up all the small bugs with quests and the like.

I believe it's for Diablo 3 because if you went to P E T E R C O N C E P T before it went down there were 3 projects up that he posted art for:

World of Warcraft
Starcraft
And the "Hydra" Project which had no art. And was 'Coming Soon'

Diablo being one of the other remaining popular games that Blizzard developed, who knows.

So *shrug* Just a rumor I heard, I didn't find it out for myself.

But other then that, here's another picture I found, I think the different runes around the ice picture are originally from the frostmoune, but I think they are also found in Diablo somewhere, i dunno

I was right all along, the ice thing is opening even more! 1 more rune has appeared.
