Progress in breaking into Tanaan

In the past, Explorers used a Shaman's Totem in conjunction with Shadowstep to reach amazing heights.
When Blizzard nerfed the Totems, a small group of explorers silently moved forward using the Priest's Lightwell as a replacement.
It was kept quiet because we didn't want Blizzard to fix the Lightwells, too.
You have just made public a very powerful tool. Use it wisely.

+9 rep for the Tanaan exploration, reaching places many have yet to see. Very impressive.

Wait, nobody knew about this? Anything thats healable works with this; IE Wild Mushrooms, Lightwell, Crashin' Racers, warrior banners. O.o I'm sure people have made posts about this before :P

If you can find old posts about how the Totems worked... then you will see why they were different than other Shadowstep-able items...

Indeed - they were powerful in a way that lightwells aren't, and not just because of the far reduced cooldown. Numerous other applications made the old totem-stepping stupidly powerful.

A deep shame that it's not around, but hey, when people abuse it for exploiting purposes, that's gonna happen. Had a good run with it regardless.

If people are so interested in exploration, why not just use any of the hack tools available and walk through the walls? :P

...I really do hope you're trolling.

Because if you're not, then you really do have no idea why we explore.

To put it simply though,

1. No challenge.
2. Because of 1, defeats the purpose of discovering ways to access/find explorations.
3. Because of 1 and 2, is no fun.

Hello guys, today I managed to get ot an instanced Tanaan jungle with all mobs that you have there while doing the WoD starting chain. I simply used the technique described above to get to Tanaan jungle, then I wen into the Umbral halls ( right after the Amphiteather ) and after I entered Khadagar teleported me out of the empty Tannan jungle into a full one with all mobs I didnt check the whole thread someone might have already managed to do this and if its a repost Im sorry.
