[5.4 News] Mount/Growth Glitching is NOT Fixed Guys

Hey guys,

I saw quite a few people in the bawx last night going all 'the end is nigh!' as apparently, mount/growth glitching is fixed in 5.4. We had people saying "the end of exploiting and exploring" and all kinds of nonsense like that.

So, if you've logged in and are finding you can't mount/growth glitch like before, I'm here to assure you that it is not fixed.

Like many times before now, it has simply gone back to requiring a disconnect at the end of the mount cast/use of the growth item. That is all that has changed - if you do this, then you will be able to growth glitch through things as before. Either that, or you can Alt-F4 to quit WoW instead of using a DC macro. Either works, but obviously the DC is less time-consuming as you don't have to start WoW up all over again.

Here is a currently working DC macro for 5.4 if you don't have one:

/run for v=1,500 do for i = 1,GetNumFactions() do SetWatchedFactionIndex(i) end end

(You need to spam this one, by the way) So have no fear! You can still explore as normal

You can also use warlocks Demonic circle -> move away growth -> teleport for same effect without DC.

Easiest proof mount glitching still works, try it on the main door in isle of conquest, very easy. Sadly, fairly useless because of the teleport field surrounding the fortress.

One interesting thing about mount glitching is that it doesn't work on primitive computers. I never managed to mount glitch through anything till I updated my video card.
