Exploration/Exploitation Macro(s)

From one of the most recent patched you can now not use glider while under a speed boost. So i thought if people were having as much annoyance as me with it then maybe i could make a macro to help them, so i did. Now this thread is just for the glider macro but i might add one's in upcoming times.

Glider Macro:

/cancelaura Rocket Boots Engaged
/cancelaura Rocket Blast
/cancelaura Rocket Boosts
/use "cloak name with glider"(No quotes)

This macro above you can add any speed boosts with cancelaura before them like for example: /cancelaura Sprint/Blazing Speed/use Malevolent Gladiator's Drape of Prowess and there you have it. Hope you guys enjoy and post requests if you want and i will try to make em for you! Thankss!!

And if you read the comments you will see that woona did some testing about all this. and you haven't, as you cannot cancelaura the nitro boots / extreme rocket boots, therefor you gotta wait it out! the only thing you can use for /cancelaura here is the darkmoon water potion / any other minor speed buffs! (like Warlocks Burning Rush and Rogues burst of speed talent)

and besides that you dont wanna use glider out of the speed boots, you wanna use a slow fall since glider overwrites any speed effects

Oh well this does work for me...... You were probably trying to cancelaura the actual boots or belt which u can't do. Im cancelling the spells.

Well im looking forward to that then i'd be pleased if the cancelaura on Extreme rocket boots and nitro rocket boots is working now. As it will make it much easier to do the jumps without having to time the buffs too !

I read the buffs from the combat log, put those into the cancelaura macros and they didn't work. I doubt you can cancel them. If you can, however, I'd like to see it.

This buff can't be canceled even with CancelUnitBuff("player", i), so I think that's impossible.

I thought so. I encountered it after 5.3 when I did some research on finding a work-around for the rocket boots nerf, but I never had anyone else try and do it. Thanks for confirming this
