[OFFLINE] Sky Change above Deepholm?

Hello everyone, I've been reading the forums for a while but just decided to make an account. I noticed something today that's a little weird and I'd thought I share it/see what you guys have to say about it.

I absolutely LOVE hanging out outside of Deepholm in offline mode, although I thought I had already seen everything there is. But today, I took a strange interest in the sky, and thought it would be fun to fly all the way up there. Little did I know, after getting passed the cool "space-like" sky, it changes to the standard day sky with the sun and clouds.

I know questions aren't allowed here, but is this something that happens everywhere? I thought I'd share.

That's probably just because deepholm is a big instanced zone, and have had a "space-like" sky wall above it, but when you then glitch out and can fly above it, you will see the normal skybox, that there is WoW

To answer your question: I remember the sky changing to this standard coloring when flying out of the map behind Black Temple but flying up above Pandaria doesn't seem to change the sky box.

There seems to be something special with the Deepholm sky box, I will try to find other areas which are like that!

that is probably because Pandaria has its own skybox, and Black Temple is still an instance that might be on coords with Azeroth, which will give it the Skybox once you fly out of the instance skywall

Oh, seems like you misunderstood me.
I meant to say that flying out of the Outlands map far to the east gave me the same sky box, not the BT map and not flying up. Sorry for that.

@Ziozi: BT is on a completely different MapID.

There is no such thing as an instance with the same coords as Azeroth, it might have the same XYZ coordinates but the mapID is the thing that matters.

Here is an old video I made in this exact area, in where I flew REALLY high up and then just dropped. I was falling for around 8 minutes, I did this in online though back when you didnt get disconnected.
