    Hey, regarding the Old Outland: I once made a world edit, but it's only working in patch 3.33 (That's like - Before Ulduar, I don't know?) - If one would edit it to work in Cataclysm, which I guess would be hard since the file types have changed, it would be great!     - Seas (we didn't explore enough underwater content. I'm exploring them on a private server to get rid of Fatigue and Breath bars and found nothing but i'm sure there is something hidden under the sea)

    It is possible to explore the sea (and probably also beneath it) on a live server without breath & fatigue on a flying mount: WoW Exploit: The 3rd World Reincarnated - YouTube (It should still work)
    - Development (you should all know about this one. i wasn't able to explore it since i'm very very bad with model editing)
    I have the necessary files, but I really can't by any means get them into live servers. I would literally pay for a full, working MPQ.

    Old outland could be reached on live server without any model edit BaddyMcBad. It was there during vanilla, i saw it in a Dopefish or Oothe movie. Method : Blizzhackers • View topic - [Untested Exploit] Getting to Outlands but this doesn't work anymore since old outland got removed soon after it was found
    I might have used your patch andros, i explored it on a wotlk private server !

    And yes, it is quite easy to explore underwater content, i just did it in PTR on the new darkmoonfair instance and i found a cave but i don't know if this is related to a quest or not since there's nothing inside it ( https://i.imgur.com/2v23O.jpg ).
    The real problem is the movement speed. It's slow so it gets boring to explore ^^ But actually i found an interesting trick. Using the blue wall, you can see really far underwater : https://i.imgur.com/5maPf.jpg

    s for the development MPQ, The Royal Idp Essploring Fundation gave everything for it but i don't know how to use that :/

    Some clarification needs to be done here.
    We (RIdPEF) NEVER released anything concerning Development, and NEVER will.
    This is agaisnt our philosophy, as I am sure you're aware Nyarly.

    It was MoD that released the raw files.

    That said, our movie should be released to the public this week, if nothing goes wrong, and I assure you that you will see Development

    A shame, since the current situation like this is: A few people from RidPEF & MoD (and probably a few people) have a working MPQ, but they won't release it. I have spoken to schlumpf about the raw files, and there seems to be problems with the .wdt; the .pm4 files are still useless.
    Nothing has happened in months regarding Development. I have yet to see a release of a somewhat working MPQ.
    We can't wait, but we'll probably have to wait for a long time.

    Also, I'll probably look into the Development-case again in my next holiday, if nothing is even close to happening. But I sure as hell ain't good at the model-editing.

    Same, it's a shame they're being so elitist about it. I've got the files that MoD released and I've tried everything to my level of knowledge but I just couldn't get it to work.

    If you tried everything to your level of knowledge and it still doesn't work, maybe you should try to do something easier, like going back to basics, and then, going back to Development ?

    As MoD said
    If you have yet to explore every map's placeholders, reach all of the usual "unreachable" maps (Emerald Dream/Azshara's Crater/etc...) on live servers via terrain swap, then development is definitely not for you.

    I've gotten to the point where the game attempts to load the files, loads them, and disconnects from my private server. I'm guessing that I have to modify the mapid/zoneid dbc so the map is something 'new' to the game... that's as far as I've gotten with those files.

    I have done the same thing: I tried to put some of the .adt's into the Razorfen Kraul instance and change the .wdt, but when I drove towards the .adt's, my game crashed.

    Nanacry, that's a very sweet gesture of you, and I wish that your idea goes without unfortunate mishap. This said, I would like to try it a hand if the account isn't already being used too frequently. I don't play at all these days, and wouldn't find much time for me to do much anyways, but I would like to help out as much as I could. I also hope that those already sharing the account have had good progress in its use and will continue to do so!

    As far as Development, I apologize if I seem to have overread anything, but don't you require the addition of a few files to the directory in order to view it without crashing? That is, in game.

    Now you mention it, actually before I gave up, I noticed that a few files were missing; .tex and .wdl. The wdl-file wouldn't be needed, but I am not completely sure about the .tex - Thanks for the reminder, Nacho!
