Account Sharing and change in Access Pattern.

Long story short I haven't played in months and a friend offered to let me use his secondary account, whom lives in another state.

Upon logging in your get the "change in Access Pattern" message, which requires you to change your password via the website. I still get the same message after he changed the password. Is it possible to work-around this safety measure? Just looking to play for a bit.

Thank you for the reply, gonna give that a shot now. Just to be clear you are referring to changing the password via the website, or will customer service need to have it reset?

You attempt to login, get error that says to change pass
Tell friend to change the pass (via email), he doesn't login to the game
You login to the game now

Thanks for clarifying. Unfortunately we just tried but I still get the message.

Tried to login, got message.
friend changed pw via website, didn't login.
still receiving message.

Tell him to copy the password reset link he recieves, and paste it to you.
Then you set the new password from your computer/IP.

This will make you able to bypass the login, and you will encounter no more problems when logging in

Edit- Got it. After the friend changes his email on the website it will send him a conformation link, this is the link I needed. Thanks everyone.
