Maybe i just don't understand how CRZ works with realms...

.. I tried this on Khaz'goroth (US), found the IPs while not on the carousel, then walked onto the moving part of the carousel, found the IPs again, and they are exactly the same. So from that, i would assume Khaz'goroth is the Host realm.

So off to Aman'thul I went, and repeated the above. Same IPs... OK? I was thinking since Khaz'goroth was the Host, and Aman'thul is in the same CRZ as Khaz, that my IPs would change being on Aman'thul.

Maybe i just don't understand how CRZ works with realms..

Also tested on Frostmourne with no luck

I can remember achieveing the same results by just logging off while on the Carousel. Was no need to block IPs, but unfortunately i didn't think much of it then. I'd just relog to get me back into the normal phase >.<

So far it seems as though this exploit is only working for those on EU realms. Have yet to see someone confirm on a US one.

Just to clarify, your IP's are not supposed to change when you jump on the carousel.
If you're having trouble doing it on your own realms, you can make lvl 1's on random realms and try it out.

Remember: If the third part of the IP is different - you're good to go!

Would say this is all it takes to get it working. Without a different CRZ host IP you can't get this to work.

OK, i just got this to work, on a US realm.

After using netstat, my IPs where something like this :

    6.145.213.185:3724 ESTABLISHED
    6.145.213. 225:3724 ESTABLISHED
    6.145.213. 233:3724 ESTABLISHED

Now i just made those numbers up, seeing as i don't understand IPs, i wouldn't want to give the real ones and someone do something with them if possible.. idk :P
So in my list to block in Peerblock, i just put
    6.145.213.1 - 6.145.213.255

and then logged out on the Carousel, and when logging back in, i hit enable on Peerblock @ 90% loading screen. and Bingo!, it worked, even though the third part of the IP was the same.

Now i just have to wait til the chest spawns :/
Regarding the chest... when i loot it the first time, will i have to wait another 3 hrs for the next one using this method, or can i get all 12 at once?

You can't tell anything from the IPs that would put you at risk, it's just where the server is basically.
and you can't tell if it's gonna work or not from the IPS
also one more thing, you dont have to hit it at 90%, you can do it a minute after logging in on the carousel if you feel like it, but you cant move away from it before you enable peerblock

Ah yea, you're right I must have done something wrong the first time i tried it, and it didn't work, then when i tried again (only this time using Peerblock at 90%) it worked, so i assumed thats what made the difference.

In fact, it just turns out i goofed up my first attempt, and using it at 90% makes no difference at all, as you've said :P Cheers.

Edit: Also tried just blocking the two IPs in the above image. Error messages me saying "Character not found".
