I think we're fine as long as we keep low profile for the next year - or two.

72 Hour ban, US. used it on scenario bag.
I just had a chat with a GM about this right now as I aswell got suspended for 72 hours. Thought that I would share what he/she said.
GM - 15:18:32
We're still looking in the details of this, and there are two possible outcomes basically.
1.) If we can undo the economic damage done, by removing all the illicitly gained items/gold/etc., we'll do that and there will likely be time-based suspensions with account warnings.
2.) If we cannot fix the damage done.. there may be licence closures.
GM - 15:22:35
A final decisions hasn't been made yet, as we don't have all the details yet. It will be decided case-by-case, expert teams are currently going over the accounts of all involved players.
GM - 15:23:32
Those who did massive harm to the server economy will quite likely not be met with leniency.
GM - 15:26:28
That may be a good thing, but I cannot give you definite answer yet. We're rather tolerant towards our players, but we do have to draw a line when there is intentional exploitation.
GM - 15:27:01
For now I can only recommend you wait for the experts to complete their research, you will be informed of the outcome soon as a final decision has been made. The game licence will stay locked until that time.
TL;DR
A final decision hasn't been made yet and an investigation is going on atm. Basically, players who did a massive harm on the server economy will most likely get a perm ban, the others might be able to dodge the banhammer this time.
Anyone manage to overturn the ban on this yet?
People still cant see a Exploit that will ban your account 100% sure? If you used your main account with this... /facepalm
Not rly, that's just standard mail. most of the 72 hrs bans are just for them to investigate. if you just duplicated items and sold them to vendor for gold or just stacked them in bank/void storage w/e they will remove items and let you go. but if you let's say disenchanted items and sold them to AH or made enchants and sold them or exploited this to get pets and sold the pets/ gave them to friends etc. They will ban you, because if this involves AH, other players it's more time consuming for them to remove all gold / check each auction you made trace players etc. they will just close your account, this because they don't want to waste their time.
Got the standard reply upon asking for an overturn of the 72 hr ban from them. Namely:
Following a review of your case, I can confirm that the evidence presented was correct, and that the subsequent action taken was appropriate. Our decision in this matter stands, and will not be overturned.
Please note, it is our policy never to reveal details regarding account investigations, beyond the information given in the original notice mail, for privacy and security reasons.
We now consider this matter closed, and would not look to enter into further communication on the matter.
No further information given in their reply, wondering wether I should re-open a ticket. My account has been billed just yesterday and I might ask for a chargeback? I don't know. Seems pretty minor to ban for a bug that is on their server-side?

Anyone had successful appeal yet?
Locked for now still... As for chargebacks, the law in my country most certainly supports chargebacks for digital services or digital items not given as stated. They can bet their ass I will let my bank chargeback as much as I legally can if this turns out to be a perma ban.
