Battle the same "Capturable" pet Infinitely

This is an easy, and fairly simple exploit. I'm not too experienced with this whole Pokemon thing, so I don't know how useful this actually is. So first battle your pet with one of the creatures in Orgrimmar, Stormwind, etc.. When you finally kill the creature, wait until you see the Experience pop up, and then /logout. When you relog the same pet is there to be rebattled, and you still have the exp.

Easy way to level all your pets up to que asap.

the creatures in Org are lvl 3 ish.. I have lvl 12 pets.. Do you think if I go out to the wild (not a city) I can disconnect myself and it be the same result? Im gonna try that now and confirm.. Thanks for this!!!!!!!! rep'd

Well you can do a 20 second logout there and still attack with your pet... so kill the target to where theres 1 hit left, logout and at 3 seconds, kill it.

Alt-f4 works as well, also, for some reason, if you alt-tab after you cast an attack before the animation goes off, the ability will not go off until you tab back in. I don't know what that means exactly, but I'm damn near certain that can be used in some way.

Pretty sure that would just be a visual and has already happened server side, and well done Omo, already kicking this expansions butt!

Unfortunately it seems like it gives you the same pet each time you do this. I tried and each time the pet had the same partner and same stats. So anyone looking to use this method to farm a rare mount will be wasting their time I am said to say. Can someone confirm that I wasn't just getting unlucky?

just do /reload right after you get xp and you can logout after that. You dont need to wait for last 3 seconds etc.

Yes, although that would be pointless essentially considering you can't cage wild pets.

No, no it cannot be used for this type of farming as I originally posted a few posts up from this one. I tried doing this to farm a few specific pets that I wanted in rare form but when I logged out then back in they were respawned with the exact same partner pet and with the exact same stats. Feel free to officially confirm this bt I tried it enough to believe it is more than RNG.

Still good for farming XP without having to move to the next pet. +rep to OP.

What if you log out in a pet trainer battle? Can you do the battle again while still getting the xp?
