EU servers just went down right now, I have 2 unclaimed containers from the black market AH, We shall see soon enough if my loot has changed (I too kept hold of them because of the Landro's loot trick from way back, in case I might get lucky) And this post really brings my hopes up. Will let you know how it went when servers are back up.

Where were your boxes? Bank, Inventory, Bank's bags or inventory's bags?

They were always in my character's bags. Bank is full so I couldn't put them in there.

It could just be pure RNG! Maybe they all changed just re-rolled into the same items? lol I know, unlikely and kind of a hopeful stretch right? Still really interesting that one of them changed but not the others... hrm. Were all 4 in your bags? Or, was the one that changed in the bank and the others weren't?

That's probably the biggest stretch of all time, lol

Yeah they were all in my bags the entire time. I was thinking maybe it could have been the order in which I got them (I think I got the first one prior to 5.3 and the others during 5.3), but it was the second one that changed.

No good news on my two BMAH containers. None of the items changed.

It either never worked with BMAH containers or they fixed it somehow. Just checked my 16 boxes, all stored in bank, all got the same loot as yesterday. Bah. Was really hoping this would work... Oh well at least I'm on a low pop realm and didn't spend 50k on each box.

Worked for me. Got two new pieces of LFR gear plus varying amounts of gold from the various boss bags I had stored.

Remember to provide info like:

1) Where did you store the BMAH containers.

2) Where did you store the LFR bags.

3) Approximately when did you buy/obtain the BMAH/LFR bags.

Also would be nice if you provided a masked armory link so we can see your new LFR pieces equipped(preferably before LFR hits live next week...). This would be a definitive proof

I disenchanted the LFR pieces so that wouldn't help much, since they were the 502 pieces, not the new 528. They were, if I recall correctly, Terra-cotta Necklace of the Invoker and Silentflame Sandals. The bags themselves were a mix of Throne of Thunder mostly and various world bosses.

I got the LFR bags periodically over the last three weeks. Opened them up and if the gold was more than 80 I took it. If not, I closed it without looting.

For storage, I just put them in my bank. Some of them were in the initial tab and most were in a Netherweave Bag in the second-to-last slot.

Maybe it works for LFR bags then. Have yet to find confirmation with proof that BMAH containers get reset. I kept mine just in case they do reset between expansions and will continue to accumulate new bags over the course of the expansion(or what's remaining of it) since the prices on my realm continue to remain low. WIll report back if anything changes.

It looks like with the beginning of patch 5.4 the containers are unique, meaning that it's impossible to hold onto more than one at a time per character.

The four that I had prior to the patch is not unique, but the two I won post 5.4 are unique, which means I couldn't loot the other one without destroying the container. I tried using the item restoration service and it didn't show up, which according to the site means it's not eligible for restoration.

So now you're limited to 11 containers per server, minus the ones you've gotten prior to that. Connected realms will make it possible to hold onto more than 11 but there will probably be more competition on the boxes.

Well, I guess Blizz finally caught on -- it lasted for quite a while at least, and for those that already have a good stash set aside from pre-5.4 I say Good Luck... oh and 11 containers means 11 alchemists... haha I DO know some guys with quite a few Xmute CDs but that'd be pretty hardcore just for this trick. Either way, it still works with other bags, like the dungeon loot bags you get if you get no gear. I have about 50 set aside from the ToT LFR runs and re-looted quite a bit of new stuff in 5.4 from them. I was mainly looking for the eggs out of laziness so I didn't have to farm them on the island... only got 1 egg on 50 bags haha, but hey, zero farming so worth it to me... I'll +rep to you when I can for the update, just need to spread some aruond first
